Parasite

TWINS

 In a small town, an elderly man was speaking to a group of people that slowly turned into a crowd about the parasites that takes control of people and turn them to mindless monsters. "Just yesterday, I was forced to kill my own daughter with my own hands." The elderly man's hands trembled and his son held his hands to calm them down then went to back to his previous position behind him. "We'll need to find a way to eradicate th-" The man's eyes fell on the sword that was pierced right through his heart with blood dripping down from it. "You'll never eradicate us." A well-known parasite named Zebeedi took control of the son and the people ran in fear.

During all these, I got separated from my twin sister "Skype!" My sister yelled my name "Nova!" I yelled back desperately looking for her. While trying to get to her, a stampede of people ran me over and I became unconscious. After it cleared out, my sister found my body on the floor and she shooked me vigorously with tears in her eyes and fear written all over her face.

Seeing the situation, Zebeedi sent a parasite to take control of my unconscious body but Nova used her fire powers to burn the bug like parasite. "Argh! How dare you destroy one my master's creation." Zebeedi growled at her then gave her a punch sending her crashing into someone's house. "You." He touched my cheeks and as he did so, another bug like parasite walked down his arm.

"Get away from my sister!" Nova yelled as her eyes turned fiery red. She flew towards Zebeedi, throwing all her fire at him so he wouldn't get close to me but she more she kept him away, the brighter her fire burns and the more tired she gets which gave Zebeedi a chance to kill her just like he was ordered to.

I woke up to the sound of something being hit on the floor "Hmm," I moaned as I stood up, my eyes trying to get use to the bright sun. "Skype." The wind sent a weak voice down to my direction and I recognized it immediately "Nova?" I looked at the direction of the sound and the blurriness in my eyes became lucid and there she was, my sister's bloody almost lifeless body being hit on the floor. Zebeedi spotted me and he threw her body beside me

"Nova." The sight I saw scared me as I rushed towards her in fear "Now, it's yr turn." He chuckled enjoying my pain. My tears turned to anger and the sun slowly disappeared. The gentle breeze became dangerous, you could feel the anger. "I better take her out now before it gets too dangerous." As he launched towards me, the wind blew him back into a house and I immediately carried my sister and ran until my uncontrollable powers carried us away using a whirlwind to somewhere I don't know yet.

"mum, seriously, ghoul school." the kid yelled at their parents furiously. "Ooh, my boys are growing up." their mother Kona smiled at the growling twins. "Whatever, I'm not going." Wilder stormed out of the room to enter his room just for his father, Joh to trick him with an illusion leading him back to the room they all gathered. "Seriously dad." He rolled his eyes as his powers uncontrollably made him roar at his father. "You boys are nothing but trouble in this fine neighborhood that's why we're sending you to boarding school," Kona said "Ouch mum." Axel playfully held on to his chest saying his mother broke his heart then he slowly walked into his room. Joh looked at his wife with looks of amazement and with a no from his mother, Wilder stealthy left the room shocking their father once more "These boys..." He chuckled "I'm going to miss them." He sighed.
