Both officers dragged me carelessly and threw me into a cell.

Huff. Rude much.

Turning around, three pairs of eyes stare at me… Hold up let mee rephrase that, they are fucking glaring at me.

They are huge, buffed with tons of ripped muscles. The only thing that indicates they are women is their annoyingly very long beautiful hair.

Great, they locked me in a cell with freaking men. Just great.

“How about we show you how men deal with brat like you that can't keep shut” the one in the middle says, standing up slowly.

Damn me…. I knew a day like this would come. When I can't seem to stop talking out loud.

“Hey Miss Spane, you are out” a tall, lanky officer calls from behind. I turn away from the scary women about to skin me alive, at this point I should learn how to fight or else I might just turn up dead one day.

I quickly rushed out of the cell, following the officer fast. Who bailed me out? I thought the investigation wasn't yet over, so how are they letting me go? I am really confused, but who am I to complain?

Bion is standing in all his glory, dressed in a black jeans and black shirt. Wow, black has never looked so appealing. A tall, black frowny face man is standing beside him with a suitcase talking on the phone.

I quickly rush to Bion's embrace, relief flooding my system. He came, he is here. I feel so safe, so at peace.

“Are you okay?” he asked, worry etched all over his face. I smile a little.

“Well, if you were a minute late I wouldn't be okay. So a big thanks to your timing” I ramble.

Honestly I am still very much shaken that I was arrested. How did my fingerprint get on Alex's body?

“Stop overthinking, my lawyer will handle it all” he quips, gesturing to the black man standing beside him. Oh so he is a lawyer, nice.

“Come on, let's go. I want to take you somewhere” Bion says, his hand on my waist as he leads me outside to his car.

“Where are we going?” I ask, a little confused since he is taking a different route from the one that leads to my house.

“You will see,” he grunts. I barely heard him though.

He keeps pumping his leg and won't stop tapping his forefinger on the wheel. The sound is going straight to my brain and causing lots of havoc.

“Ok that's it. What is getting you so worked up?” I refuse to let him continue giving me headache.

“It's nothing really” he says, cleaning a sweat from his forehead.

“It's not nothing if you are sweating this much” I snap, rolling my eyes at him.

“Just leave him be, he is nervous” Grunona says, licking her paws.

“Just look at him Mel, look at our mate. Isn't he so dreamy?” chirpy slurs, rolling on her back.

The chameleon snorts, like literally snorts. I think I am going crazy.

“We are here” he pulls up beside the road and rushes out before I can ask him where exactly we are.

I get out of the car, following him. He places his hand at the low of my back again, slowly guiding me forward.

We are in the woods, what are we doing here?

“Do you plan on killing me, and dumping me here where no one will find me” I murmured under my breath to myself.

“I heard that Mel” he groans, pulling me to his side.
