Gear 2 is achieved by Luffy stretching and manipulating his blood vessels to speed up the blood flow in his body, resulting in a red glow, increased body temperature, faster metabolism, and, most importantly, a stark increase in power, making him more faster and powerful slowly decreasing his life span
"THATS DANGEROUS LUFFY!!!!" Chopper panicked again he knew how much painful that would be if he was a regular human
