"so when are we going" Tae asked.

"So, when are we going?" Taehyung asked, trying to sound casual but unable to hide the slight tremor in his voice.

Y/N looked at him with a reassuring smile. "We'll head over this Thursday. My appa's birthday is on Friday and they may as well have a party on Saturday so will return on Sunday mostly, and they're really excited to meet you."

Jungkook, still grinning, added, "It'll be fun, Tae. My first time meeting them was really a dramatic one—talk about pressure! But it ended up being great, and I'm sure this will be too."

Taehyung nodded, taking in their words. The thought of meeting Y/N's parents still made his heart race, but knowing he had the support of both Y/N and Jungkook helped ease his nerves. "Okay," he said, his voice a bit steadier. "I'm ready."

Y/N reached out and squeezed his hand. "You'll be just fine, Tae. We're all in this together."

With that, the nervousness began to give way to anticipation, and the three of them started making plans for the weekend, knowing it would be another step in solidifying their bond as a family.

The morning of Thursday arrived, and with it came the day for their trip to Seoul. Y/N, Jungkook, and Taehyung were up early, packing all the necessary items for the journey. The house was filled with a quiet excitement as they made sure they had everything they needed.

After a hearty breakfast, they decided on road travel rather than taking the train, preferring the freedom and intimacy of a road trip. Jungkook, who loved driving, volunteered to take the wheel, and soon they were on the road, the car filled with soft music and light conversation.

The trip promised to be a memorable one, not just because of the destination, but because of the time they would spend together, strengthening their bond even further.

After traveling for five hours, they finally reached Y/N's parents' house. As they pulled up, Jungkook and Taehyung both looked around, surprised by the modest size of the home. They had expected something grander, considering that Mr. Kim was a renowned lawyer with a large firm. But the house, though not grand, exuded warmth and coziness, much like the family within.

Y/N stepped out of the car first, a smile playing on her lips as she approached the door. She rang the bell, her heart fluttering with excitement and a bit of nervousness. Within moments, the door swung open, and a small figure appeared in the doorway.

"Noona!" a young boy exclaimed, launching himself into Y/N's arms. She laughed, hugging him tightly, her affection clear as she ruffled his hair.

Behind the boy, her dada appeared, his face lighting up at the sight of his children reunited. "Welcome home, sweetheart," he said warmly, his eyes crinkling with joy as he watched Y/N with her brother.

Jungkook and Taehyung, still standing near the car, couldn't help but smile at the sight. The simplicity of the moment—the love between siblings and the gentle warmth of a father's smile—was more meaningful than any grand estate could ever be. They exchanged a glance, both feeling a little more at ease. This was the kind of family they were walking into—a home where love was the most important thing.

"Oh, Kookie, my baby!" Earth exclaimed as he stepped outside, his eyes lighting up with affection as he spotted Jungkook. But his gaze quickly shifted to Taehyung, who stood beside Jungkook, trying to blend into the background. "And wait, is this the person you were talking about? Oh, my god, you are so handsome!" Earth approached Taehyung and gently held his face, his eyes filled with adoration. Taehyung felt a mix of shyness and warmth at the unexpected attention.

"And look at my Kookie," Earth continued, turning back to Jungkook. "Why are you so thin? I guess both of you need to eat more, and don't worry, I'll feed you a lot. I already sent your appa to get groceries so I can cook every favorite dish you guys like."
