He forwards his hands beside her, taehyung almost panicked but before that jungkook picked something from the table beside her and retreated.

"You looked funny" he swirls the key he fetched.

"I thought-" she starts but shakes her head, she is comcerned about herself.

"You thought?" He raises a brow, "You might not be wrong the next time though" he walks away before taehyung could recover from the surprising goosebumps and chill. Eh what?

The same night, taehyung was peacefully asleep when suddenly, everything felt suffocating.

Shifting every now and then on her bed, the sleepy eyes not helping at all, her whole body started to ache.

"M-mom" she groans out, her head hurting as if hit by a lightning.

The pain on her whole body kept on increasing that her eyes opened as she felt breathless.

Gasping for air, she sits up and when she takes in the outside view from her open curtain, it seemed to be raining.

She puts a hand over her racing heart, looking ahead when a lightning striked, illuminating a woman seemingly standing at the foot of the bed.

Her eyes widens comically, "Ahhhhhhhh" covering both her ears with her palms and curling, she screams out of her lung.

"You dont deserve it at all" a menacingly calm feminine voice speaks up, she doesn't dare to speak up, rather, she tears up.

"Get away, as soon as you can." The voice went on getting deeper.

With difficulty,"Leave me alone, please." She manages to reply.

"I know your evil intentions, GET AWAY FROM HIM!" The voice almost was growling, bringing out another ear screeching shout from taehyung.

"Ahhhhhh" her head pain gets extremely high and at the same time, the door flows open.

Not in any state of letting out any reaction, she stays curled to herself, full on crying.

"Taehyung?"

"Im sorry, I'm sorry, leave me alone, leave me- go away. Dont hurt me!" She keeps on chanting, still covering her head.

Her voice full of fear concerns jungkook, "Taehyung-" he sits beside her, holding her shoulder.

She finally looks up, hair messy and eyes puffy and wet, from all the tears.

"Tae." Jungkook doesn't waste a second before hugging, though taehyung struggled at first, she relaxed afterwards, feeling secure in his warmth.

Jungkook softly pats her back, "Its okay, im here." He assures when taehyung's sobs fades gradually.

After the sobs completely stop and Taehyung seemed calmed down, "Now tell me, what happened?"

Jungkook tries to retreat but taehyung doesnot, clutching his tshirt and tightening her arms around his back.

"Please dont leave me."

The ever so soft, vulnerable and sincere voice surely stirred up something in his heart. How could he deny? Ofcourse he'd be by her.

"I wont." Jungkook gently embraces her again, putting his chin softly over taehyung's head, resting on his chest.

"Now tell me, what happened?"

"Th-there was someone in m-my room" jungkook gently rubs her back when he feels her shivering a little, "sh-she was scary. And my whole body was hurting"

"My head hurt so much that i thought i would-" she hugs him tighter,"that i would die" the flashes of the dreadful pain she felt awhile ago brought out tears in her eyes, unwillingly.

"Hey, shh" Jungkook speaks ever so softly, "Nothing will happen, you know im here right?" Taehyung nods.

"Don't go away, please" her voice softened, and faded with each word. Regardless, jungkook kept gently rubbing her back.

"Tae?" Jungkook softly calls out, but as he assumed, taehyung was fast asleep.

He pulls away from the hug, gentle making her lay back and covering her with duvet.

He took his time admiring the vulnerable and soft features, the tear stains feeling bitter as he unwillingly flashed a look of..hurt.

He couldn't hold back then, bending to her level and brushing away few strands of her silky hair, he kisses her forhead.

"Please dont leave me." Taehyung mumbles in her sleep, voice almost incoherent.

"I wont" he sweeps back her hair on her forhead with his palm, a soft smile automatically making its way to his handsome features, "I promise."
