Floor 70, (Y/N) Pov
It has been quite a hectic time since word spread about the solo clear of floor 55's boss. Since then, I have either been grinding, or getting bombarded by players asking about my weapon. Players ask where I got it, to which I say that an exclusive dungeon I got randomly teleported to was the source and don't know how to get back. Blacksmiths ask to see it so that they can try to recreate it. Many try, all fail and make regular swords and shields. So I try to stay in dungeons grinding. I've even killed a couple more bosses solo to show it wasn't a fluke.
First was the Frostfang Barioth. We had actually fought a regular Barioth a couple floors earlier. It was annoying then and this one is even more. It takes less non fire damage and has more health and moves even more. I hate it so fucking much. But I managed to eventually solo it and got a new passive skill on top of it. Its called Element Exploit, which increases the damage I deal with my element effects if the enemy is weak to that element.
The second boss, that was so much worse. It was by far the biggest challenge. It was the other monster at the end of the hall I got my charge blade from, Nergigante. Let me just say, I hate that dragon. Barioth felt like child's play compared to Nergigante. It was the boss of floor 68. Just after the massacre on 67, and then that boss on 68, I'm glad I went solo. It hit harder than anything I have seen, did these hops that did small amounts of damage unless you had incredible defense, and it shoots thorns. Yeah, those quill looking things that were on its statue are not for show or defense. Very much for offense. But nothing I couldn't just guard.
So despite all odds, I am still alive, here on floor 70...soloing another dungeon. Is my weapon and skills overpowered? Maybe, but I'm going to use that. I say solo, I'm not actually solo. I have 2 people following and pestering me. Asuna and Kirito. They wanted to make sure I would be okay and don't know how to take no as an answer. They try to fight things, but by the time they draw their swords, the enemies burst into pixels. We reach some doors that symbolize the boss room. Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Dumber start to strategize of what to do to "scout the boss." Nah. I'm killing that thing. I've been dealing with these two for so long, I need to blow off some steam. I open the doors and step into the room, letting my tunes take over again.
