The countryside stretched out endlessly before them as Jimin drove down the long, winding road. The sky above was a brilliant shade of blue, dotted with occasional clouds, and the fields on either side were vast, stretching as far as the eye could see. The hum of the car's engine was the only sound breaking the peaceful silence, but the mood inside the car was tense with anticipation.

Y/N sat in the passenger seat, glancing occasionally at Jimin, then back at Rosie, who was sitting in the back seat. Jimin had been talking about Jin's farm, trying to ease their nerves, but Y/N was barely listening, her mind racing with thoughts about the future.

"He lives pretty far outside the city," Jimin said, his hands gripping the steering wheel as he glanced at the rearview mirror. "That's why it's taking a while to get there. But once we arrive, you'll see-it's worth it. It's quiet, peaceful. You'll be able to breathe."

"Yeah, no problem," Y/N replied absentmindedly, though she couldn't shake the knot of anxiety tightening in her stomach. She wasn't worried about the distance; it was the unknown waiting for them that weighed heavy on her.

Suddenly, from the backseat, there was a soft gagging sound. Y/N's head snapped back to see Rosie with her hand covering her mouth, her face pale and her eyes wide with panic. Her other hand reached out, frantically tapping Y/N on the shoulder.

"Jimin, stop the car!" Y/N shouted, her voice urgent as she instantly understood what was happening.

Jimin quickly pulled the car to the side of the road, the tires crunching over the gravel as he slowed to a stop. Before the car had even fully halted, Rosie was already out, stumbling to the side of the road as she bent over, vomiting into the grass.

Y/N hurried out of the passenger seat, rushing to Rosie's side. Her heart clenched as she watched Rosie heave, her body trembling with each wave of nausea. She knelt beside her, one hand gently rubbing Rosie's back in soothing circles, trying to provide whatever comfort she could.

"It's okay, Rosie. Breathe," Y/N whispered softly, her voice filled with concern as she watched her girlfriend struggle. She hated seeing Rosie like this, the toll the pregnancy was taking on her becoming more apparent every day.

Rosie coughed and gagged, her body shaking as another wave of sickness hit her. Y/N stayed by her side, patiently rubbing her back and murmuring reassurances, even though her own heart was pounding in her chest. She felt utterly helpless but determined to be Rosie's anchor.

Jimin stayed in the car, watching from the rearview mirror, his brow furrowed with concern. He knew it wasn't easy for either of them, especially Rosie, but seeing it firsthand made him realize how much they were going through. Still, he gave them space, letting them have their moment without intrusion.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Rosie's body stilled, and she straightened up slowly, wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. She looked utterly drained, her face pale and her eyes red from the effort. Y/N quickly reached into her pocket, pulling out a bottle of water and handing it to her.

"Here, drink a little," Y/N urged gently, helping Rosie lift the bottle to her lips. Rosie took small, careful sips, her hands trembling slightly as she leaned into Y/N for support.

"You okay?" Y/N asked softly, her voice filled with tenderness as she brushed a strand of hair out of Rosie's face. Her heart ached seeing Rosie like this-so fragile, yet so strong at the same time.

Rosie nodded weakly, too exhausted to speak. She leaned into Y/N, letting her head rest on her shoulder as she tried to catch her breath. Y/N kissed the top of her head, holding her close as the weight of the moment settled around them.
