Present (January 10, 2028)
"Leah" I hear someone say behind me as I'm putting the last book away. When I finish I turn around and am left speechless by the person that I see.
There's no way that that's him
My eyes have to be playing tricks on me. There is no way that Cedrick is standing right here in front of me right now. In a library. At my job.
"Cedrick?" I say but before he can say anything I hurry and walk to the back of the library where only employees are allowed, but right when I was about to lock the door he comes rushing in and closes, and locks the door behind him.
I can't believe I am seeing him again after all these years.
