“ARE YOU AN IDIOT?” Jungkook groaned when he saw his mother entering the hospital room they are currently in. “I THOUGHT YOU WERE OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW WHAT YOU SHOULD BE DOING!”

Her sour scent was cloaking the entire room and Jungkook his his hair in frustration while glancing at the omega who was still unconscious on the hospital bed.

“Doctors confirmed that it is nothing too serious. He just collapsed because of fatigue.” Jungkook muttered, barely audible.

“Fatigue?” His mother asked as she glanced at her son-in-law who looked so pale on the bed. “He was not supposed to have fatigue after he was mated to you. Why do you think he married you?” His mother said and Jungkook looked at her with a blank face.

“When he wakes up, why don't you ask him what's the matter then?” Jungkook said, his temper rising as he looked at his mother. Their sour pheromones were mixing in the air.

“Because this situation should not have even happened by the way. Jiminie should never be in hospital ever again!” Jungkook huffed at his mother's words feeling beyond annoyed at the situation.

“Will you please stop it?” The Alpha asked instead. “Do you think that I don't feel guilty about this? Do you think that I want my mate in this state?” He asked and watched as she walked towards Jimin's bed and gently combed his hair .

“But he is in this state.” She said. “His mother wanted him to have a healthy life and that is why they made him marry again.” She said and looked at Jungkook with an intense glare. “You must have done something…” She narrowed her eyes at him. “Or you must not have done something…” her mouth turned into a scowl. “Do you want me to teach you how things work between mates?” She asked her gaze turning back towards Jimin.

“Eomma…” the Alpha almost whined.

“But you already have a child with that witch so I think that you already know what happens.”

Jungkook immediately turned red at that as his mother looked at him.

“Things are… different between us.” Jungkook said without looking at his mother.

“Obviously.” She said. “do you think that just because you are mated,  an omega can easily trust you. Give Jimin some time and control your urges.” She added , still combing her fingers through Jimin's hair.

Jungkook wanted to tell her that he has never been intimate with the omega but thought it was better to eliminate that detail. Didn't want to hear more from his mother.

“His mother told me that he was the most cheerful person.  Always making people laugh and feel comfortable. She told me that he was very talkative.” she said and once again looked at Jimin. “Though I don't know him, I can't imagine what is going on in his mind.” She finally detached himself from the omega and walked towards Jungkook. “He was pregnant,  Jungkook.” she reminded. “Imagine losing your pup and mate in one single night. It must be very hard for him. But then imagine him forced to mate someone who is practically stranger to him.” She added.

“He is a stranger to me too…” Jungkook said in a small voice, mouth forming a pout at seeing his mother taking sides with Jimin.

“And that is why you have to stop being a stranger.” She smacked him on his head.

“Eomma!”

“Shush…” She scolded. “You being a stubborn workaholic Alpha won't help to build a healthy relationship with Jiminie.” She said. “Even though you want to respect his boundaries,  you know that you can't afford it, especially with my son-in-law's condition. You have to use your brain for once.”
