As the doors swung open, the voices paused for a brief moment, then resumed upon seeing Akio, clearly a familiar face. A few of the people looked intensely at Kyle, whispering among themselves. They all looked incredibly different from one another, with varying shapes, sizes, colours.

So, why's it called Teal Town?

Akio smiled, not saying a word as he pointed towards a large, church-like building in the center of town. Lying just above the door was a large teal square, with a white lowercase "G" protruding from it.

Well what's that symbol mean? What's the G stand for?

"Curious one huh? Well, it's the Mark of the Manifestor. A holy symbol of sorts. As for the G.. I'm not too sure actually." Akio stopped, thinking. "The Manifestor never said, but it doesn't matter too much anyways eh?" The doors to the church flew open, a similar looking figure to Akio came out, this one much more like a cat, with sharp yellow eyes, and dark purple fur. They wore a brown cloak, an accompanying brown wide-brimmed hat, and a long blue scarf. Hovering just in front of them was a dirty, orange traffic cone. "Oh, hey Drago!" Drago waved, running off to who knows where.

Inside the church was a large podium, with a cloaked figure standing atop it. In the pews were a few folk, all anxiously awaiting to be called up. The cloaked figure hastily scanned the room before speaking in a tongue indescribable. The next name to be called was Jude, a short, ugly man walked forward, with a long nose, and dopey eyes. They sported a red shirt, a matching red cap, and blue overalls. The fellow marched towards the podium, outstretched his arms. Suddenly, a washing machine appeared from nowhere. Almost ready for it, Jude pulled the blue machine that Eginix had used earlier into his hands, and a blue beam of light shot into the washing machine, stopping it midair. Jude left the church, the blue laser acting like a leash, dragging the washing machine through the air with ease.

"That's Jude, he doesn't talk much. Bastard learned how to read minds and doesn't feel the need to speak any more." Kyle watched as Jude strutted out of the church, at the same pace and rhythm that he had seen everyone else walk at. Something wasn't right about this place, he could feel it. Not Teal Town, mind you, just whatever realm they all found themselves inhabiting.

Time passed, and everyone else had been called up, whilst Kyle and Akio sat patiently waiting among the pews. Finally, the cloaked figure spoke again, and Akio stood up, gesturing for Kyle to do the same. As they approached the podium on which the figure stood, Kyle felt a strange sense of dread strike through his body. "Kyle, I'd like you to meet.. The Manifestor." He said with a smile, taking a knee before The Manifestor. It spoke again, its voice simultaneously pleasant and painful.

Oh, hey there Manifestor.. I'm Kyle.. I don't know where the hell I am..

Akio nudged Kyle, gesturing for him to also take a knee, bowing before The Manifestor. It spoke, and Akio nodded, stood up, and left the church, but not before giving Kyle a thumbs up. As Kyle and The Manifestor stood in silence, the podium began to slowly descend into the ground, eventually leaving Kyle and The Manifestor at eye level with each other. Kyle tried to make out a face, eyes, anything in the inky black that lay inside the hood of the cloak, but there was nothing. It spoke again.

I.. don't know what you're saying-

It was at this moment that The Manifestor's arm sprung forward, clutching Kyle by the shirt. He panicked, this thing was gonna kill him, this was it. With its other hand, it manifested a large blue and white pill, before forcing it down Kyle's throat. As he struggled and choked it down, his vision began to blur and distort, the world shifting hues rapidly. It began to speak again, but now Kyle understood. He heard each and every word The Manifestor spoke to him. "Welcome to Teal Town, Kyle. Enjoy your stay." The Manifestor dropped Kyle, before walking off towards a chamber off the side of the church, labeled "The Manifestor's Chambers. Do Not Disturb".

That's.. it? That's all you're going to say to me? I have so many questions! Where am I? What is this place? Why does everyone look... the way they do? What's with the "manifesting" stuff? Hello? Why are you ignoring me?

The Manifestor ignored his questions as it entered its chambers, and shut the door. Kyle was left standing there, in the blinding light of midday shining through the skylight above him. The doors to the church quietly slid open, and a figure approached, they were slightly shorter than Kyle. (noticing a trend?). They appeared to be human, with bright orange hair, fox ears, and a gargantuan fox tail following behind them. "Just met The Manifestor huh? Don't worry, they're like that to everyone. Come on, I'll introduce you to everyone. You can call me Sleep."
