Maggie's POV:
I was gone for a good, eh, 4 hours. "He has to be gone by now, right? I mean it's not like my mom is going to hold him hostage..." I said talking to my friend, Selena. "Knowing your mom, he's probably still there," she chuckled. I sighed, turning into my neighborhood. "Why doesn't she understand that I don't want a boyfriend right now?" I questioned her. "Because everyone knows you want one. Maggie, I know you like the back of my hand. You say you're into goodie goodies, and all that shit, but you're not. You like the bad asses. The mysterious ones. Kinky. Sexy. Dark. That's the shit you like. And you're scared because you don't want to get yourself into something that you won't be able to get out of." I looked at my phone in shock. Is she telling the truth? "I don't know...." I started to say, but she cut me off. "Just give him a chance if he's still there. Maybe he'll be exactly what you want." I sighed, "okay, well I'm in her driveway... I'll text you.." I mumbled while hanging up. I parked my car, and got out. When I walked in, my mother, and the boy she invited over were sitting on the couch. I rolled my eyes and let out a huge sigh. He looked over at me and widened his eyes. Do I have something on my face? God.. Men are so rude sometimes... When I looked back over at him, giving him the tiniest glare, he smirked and licked his lips. I set my bags down and walked into the living room. Hmm..Jacks POV:
Damn. She was hot. I couldn't look away from her. She gave me a glare, which made me smirk. Sassy, and hard to get. I like it. I guess I can try with her. "Maggie, honey, come in and introduce yourself...." her mother said politely. I have been here for 5 hours now and I'm not really regretting it, especially after seeing what I've been waiting for. Maggie. Such a cute, innocent name. I'm not really into goodie goodies. More of the bad ass type. But she seemed down to earth, and not many bad ass girls are like that. She walked in. My eyes locked on her face. She refused to make eye contact with me. She sat down. I couldn't help but stare, she was so daring... So beautiful. "Hi. My names maggie. My mother invited you over for a date, I, oh, so wanted because I reaaally want a boyfriend, and I want to be distracted from my college life..-" she said in the most sarcastic tone possible. I couldn't help but let out a laugh. "Maggie-" her mother said sternly. "Oh no, this is funny," I said trying to hold back my laughter. Maggies mother got up and walked fast out of the room, grabbing her purse, and leaving. Maggie rolled her eyes. "You know what?" I said questioning her. She looked up at me, still not making eye contact. "What." She replied. "Do you really think I am going to distract you from your 'college life' if we ever, you know, hit off?" I asked her chuckling, but still continuing. "I have a life of my own, and of course I will adore you, and love you in every way possible... But I will not have the time to distract you from your 'college life'." I said finishing what I wanted to say. She looked at me, shocked from me sudden outburst. She went to say something, but closed her mouth trying to figure out what to say. "Honestly-" I started to say, but was cut off because she tackled me, giving me a hug while weeping. At first I was confused as to what she was doing and got a little bit defensive- until I realized all she was doing was hugging me. I haven't gotten a hug in years. I usually don't allow them, but I felt that, she needed one, and I did too... So I let her. "Every boy my mother brings to me, wants to get in my pants. I cannot believe you're different-" she said while tightening her grip on me. I was not sure what to say, so I just hugged her back. "I haven't had a boyfriend in forever, because all the they do is use me.. I'm so tired of feeling so lonely, but I don't want to mess up anything my future holds for me". She froze, getting ahold of herself. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do that... I just broke, you can go if you aren't comfortable anymore..." she started to say but I stopped her. "I'm actually good," I said cutting her off with a smirk. She looked down, blushing, while whipping her tears. "Um, i guess we can go out, or something..." She said looking at her phone. I am nervous about telling tell her about who I actually am, she's going to be scared of me and I'm not sure if I can handle that. I looked up and she was gone. What the fuck? I started to panic, did she read my mind or something? I got up and looked out the window. Fuck girls. Fuck relationships. Fuck all of it! I sighed in defeat. I looked down at my phone and started to type a text to my mom when I heard footsteps. When I looked up, my eyes were treated with a pleasant surprise. Maggie.
