I think I'm in love with a killer

Joe was pretty shaken up, and the officers noticed it.
So they just asked him a couple of questions and let him go, he was still on the suspect's list though.

But the last question from the interrogation, Joe couldn't get it out of his head.
"Do you suspect any of the students?"
At that moment Joe couldn't really think of anything, but now... now it's just something that actually needs attention.
'If the killer is someone I know...'
It creeped him out.

As he reached for his dorm room.
He thought,
'The dude happened to be one of the arts students. Maybe Eric must know him... He'll be pretty upset.'

So Joe decided to not tell Eric about it.

The door creaked open, revealing Eric, sleeping.
Joe wasn't really expecting him to sleep, but that's honestly better, atleast Joe won't have to tell him.

He pulled out his laptop and started searching more about the killer, 'Raze'. Since he didn't have anything to do... Which was an excuse because he actually didn't know what else to do...

There was nothing much about the killer online, just a couple of pictures of the scene from the previous murder.
There was no evidence that the person who killed the Arts student, was the same person who killed the first student, but it was Joe's gut feeling... Something within him, just couldn't think of any other explaination, or any other person.

There was no way he could sleep after something like this... Rather,
he really didn't want to sleep.
He wanted to stay up.
His body wanted to be alert... but it couldn't and somehow, he managed to fall asleep.

2:41 am...
Joe wakes up, breathless.
'this can't be right...'
Something felt so off, that he couldn't go back to sleep.

He realises.

And quickly opens up his laptop.

At this point, he didn't really know what he was doing... But the thing that he did know... was that this is messed up.

He opened the crime scene photos from the previous murder.

And there it was.
