Brianna was at home taking a personal day when Lydia walked in. "There's my favorite baby sister" Brianna said, and Lydia smiled.
"What are you doing here" Brianna asked. "I wanted to check on you make sure you were okay" Lydia said and Brianna nodded.
"I'm fine and hey I'm the oldest I check on you remember not the other way around okay you do t have to take care of me I'm fine" Brianna said.
"Uh yes I do need to check on you you're my older sister we Martins look out for each other" Lydia said. "Fair point but Lyds you would know if I wasn't okay, I mean who knows me better than you" Luna said. "M
"No one I just after what happened at the school, I thought we was going to lose each other I can lose you Bria" Lydia said.
"Hey and you won't" Brianna said. "You promise" Lydia asked. "Good but can I ask you something I just I been meaning to ask but wasn't sure if now was the right time" Lydia said.
"Lyds you know you can ask my anything" Brianna said.
"Is there a reason why you don't talk about your birth family I mean you barely talk about them, and I know you don't like talking about them for whatever reason but" Lydia said and Brianna sighed.
"There's nothing to tell I mean not really my dad is dead my mom, she uh she didn't want me at least from my understanding my dad was the only family I've ever known aside from some family friends which I don't remember how I met but at least now you know" Lydia said.
"Do you ever miss him your dad" Lydia asked curiously.
"All the time he was the best dad a girl could have but I like to believe things happen for a reason as sad as it is that he died if he didn't mom would have never met me and we wouldn't be sisters" Brianna said.
"Yeah, you're right" Lydia said. "Hey Bria" Lydia said as Brianna looked at her
"Yeah, my favorite baby sister" Brianna said. "I love you" Lydia said. "I love you too" Brianna said and hugged her.
"Always remember that I will do everything in my power to keep you safe and if you need me you know I won't waste a second" Brianna said as Lydia smiled.
"I know" Lydia said and Brianna smiled as she hugged Lydia once more before pulling away from the hug.
"You want anything I'm going to get food" Brianna said. "Surprise me" Lydia said and Brianna nodded.

Luna had gone uo to her room as it was now nighttime and turned on the lights when she closed her door but when she turned around, she saw Derek and nearly screamed.
"So, this sitting in the dark thing is this something I should be used to" Brianna asked. "Maybe if you remembered it" Derek mumbled.
"I heard that and what are you talking about" Brianna asked. "Nothing, never mind you won't believe me anyways" Derek said. "Wait a minute how did you get in" Luna asked.
"I climbed in through the window" Derek said. "Right, I thought I locked it but cool" Brianna said.
"Wait a second tonight's a full moon" Brianna said realizing. "I'm aware" Derek said.
"You gonna look for Scott" Brianna asked. "I still need his help" Derek said.
"Really cause if it wasn't for Lydia, I would've killed him by now" Brianna said. "Sounds like you but Bria we still need him he is still connected to the alpha " Derek said.
"I know but he's just ugh" Brianna said. "I know trust me I know you can sit this one out if you want, I'll text you details when I get home" Derek said.
"Okay thanks" Brianna said and went to her bed sitting down as Derek went out the window.
