KidR: "Yea, yea I get it"

I open the front door, walking in with Kid Ritz, my mother greets him regularly.  Velvet doesn't give a shit, and Varian.. Hes talking with someone (wonder who that is..)

My dad.. Ehh he'll eventually warm up.

Sitting at the dining table

Var: "So, Ritz.. Did you really fuck Veneer"

Ven: "Varian!"

Var: "Gotta know the details"

Vel: "Girl shut the hell up! That's nasty.."

Ven: "Don't listen to him"

I whispered to Ritz

Vel: "Varian, I swear I'm going to beat your ass. Nora isn't deaf you know!"

She pointed at their confused little sister

Nora: "What does "Gotta know the details" mean?"

Vel: "Nothing!"

Var: "Okay but seriously, am I becoming an uncle or what?"

Vel-Ven: "Varian shut the hell up!"

Var: "Geez.."

KidR: "Is everything-"

I cut him off

Ven: "perfectly fine.. Varian is just being a little twinky ass bitch"

I muttered that last part

KidR: " What'd you say?"

Ven: "Nothing"

I saw my dad kept glancing at Kid Ritz, a deep glare staring at Ritz..

He'll warm up eventually..Hopefully..

Dad: "So Kid Ritz, what college are you planning on attending, after high school?"

KidR: "Oh uhm.. I really thought of entering Juilliard"

Dad: "For?"

KidR: "Orchestra"

Dad: "You play..?"

KidR: "Violin"

Dad just nods, he seems..impressed?

Dad: "Veneer is attending-"

KidR: "Medic school, to be a nurse"

Dad: "Yea.. Yea.. Exactly.. You don't mind if I ask you some questions?"

KidR: "I don't mind"

I know exactly what he's doing..

Dad: "How many kids do you ever plan on having with my son if it were to happen in the future?"

KidR: "A normal amount that we both are comfortable with"

Dad: "What is my son allergic to?"

KidR: "Dust mites, any drug type, and gypsophilias"

My father seems pretty impressed. Mom seems happy actually,  and well.. Velvet and Varian aren't paying attention

Dad goes on to make sure he's "the one" for me. Pretty overprotective but sweet I guess.

Ritz answers them all perfectly.

Dad: "You earn my respect"

KidR: "Thank you Mr. Vancen"

Dad leaves the table, mom smiling and following.

Var: "Congrats, your the first who passed the test"

Ven: "Varian.. He's been the only one who's taken this test. Also how's things with Elijah?"

I teased him, a small smirk on my face

Var: "Oh shut up were just friends.."

Ven: "Right..totally"

I smiled
