"Doctor can I go"

Usually a person forgets about his past, anything he studied sometimes,language,his family,friends,lover and a major part of his self
In my case I remember everything except who I am and a major part of my past. The only thing I remember about my past is a room white in colour
Now how do I convince the doctor that I have lost my memory maybe taking some rest will help me get my memory back
