"Stay light on your feet, Vaegon. You have to be prepared for anything," Uncle Baelon calls out from the bottom.

I nod slightly and continue on with the course. I get passed the swinging course then I have to duck and twist between the one that has spikes.

Quickly making my way through the course, I jump down and land next to my uncle who's smiling proudly at me.

"Well done. You'll be ready for another battle in no time. Come now onto our swords," Uncle Baelon says patting my back before towards the sword rack.

He picks up mine and tosses me it that I catch with ease. He always does this so I have to be prepared. We begin training with our swords.

"Plant your feet, strike fast. You can't give your enemies a moment of weakness. Or mercy. They will try to deceive you," he advises as he swings his sword at me and I block it with mine.

I plant my feet and push with all my might against his. He jerks back a bit and I quickly press my sword against his neck.

He tilts his head back a bit as he stares at me then smiles. "Good. You're getting better," he drawls out and I pull my sword away then slid it into my slot.

"Thank you, uncle. And it's all because of you. Father is too busy trying to eat all he can and worried about Aemma's pregnancy to do any training with me," I respond in a grateful tone and he sheathes his sword then set a hand on my shoulder.

"It's no problem, kiddo," he says squeezing my shoulder gently and I smile up at him before our attention gets drawn to a knight walking over.

"Prince Baelon, Prince Vaegon, the council meeting is starting soon," He announces with a bow of his head and we nod.

"Thank you, Ser," I respond with a nod and he straightens up his posture then turns to leave. I look back to Uncle who gestures with his head to the castle.

I nod and we begin our walk into the castle. On the way we accidentally ran into Rhaenyra and Alicent. "Our apologies, girls," I say with an apologetic smile and back up a bit from Rhaenyra since I rammed into her.

They both smile at me gently. "It's quite alright, Vaegon. We weren't watching where we were going either," Rhaenyra responds looking at me.

I smile gently at both of them and nod. "We must get going or we'll be late, Vaegon," Uncle tells me and gives the girls a small smile, "Rhaenyra, Ms. Hightower."

"Uncle, Prince Baelon," they both say at the same time with a nod.

"Come, Vaegon," Uncle says patting my back softly and I nod while he continues on the path to the council meeting.
