Seungkwan trudged into the dorm, his shoulders slumped and his usually bright demeanor dimmed. It had been a rough day—long rehearsals, frustrating miscommunications, and a string of small misfortunes had left him feeling overwhelmed.
He slumped down on the couch in the common room, staring blankly at the TV. The noise of the other members moving about seemed distant, their cheerful conversations barely penetrating his gloomy mood.
Dino, noticing Seungkwan's unusual quietness, quietly approached him. “Hey, Seungkwan, you okay?” he asked softly, sitting down beside him.
Seungkwan sighed deeply. “Not really. Everything just went wrong today. I feel like I’m letting everyone down.”
Dino put a comforting hand on Seungkwan’s back. “I’m sorry you’re having a tough day. Do you want to talk about it?”
Seungkwan hesitated, then nodded. “It’s just… I feel like no matter how hard I try, things just don’t go right. I messed up so many times today, and I’m just so tired of it.”
Dino listened patiently, letting Seungkwan pour out his frustrations. When Seungkwan finally fell silent, Dino offered a reassuring smile. “You know, even on the worst days, you’re still amazing. We all have days like this, and it doesn’t make you any less important or talented.”
Seungkwan glanced at Dino, his eyes reflecting his weariness. “But what if I’m just not good enough?”
“Everyone has off days,” Dino said firmly. “What matters is how you pick yourself up. You’ve always been there for us, supporting us, making us laugh. Now it’s our turn to be here for you.”
Seungkwan’s gaze softened as he looked at Dino. “Thanks. I just needed to hear that.”
Dino wrapped an arm around Seungkwan’s shoulders, pulling him into a comforting side hug. “How about we take a break? We can watch a movie or play a game. Sometimes a little distraction helps.”
Seungkwan managed a small smile. “That sounds nice.”
Dino stood up and offered his hand to Seungkwan. “Come on then, let’s go. We’ll have some fun, and tomorrow will be a new day.”
As they headed to the common room, Dino’s cheerful energy began to lift Seungkwan’s spirits. Dino’s presence and words reminded him that he wasn’t alone, and that even on his worst days, he had a support system ready to help him through.
They spent the evening watching movies, playing games, and sharing laughs. The weight of the day slowly lifted from Seungkwan’s shoulders, replaced by the warmth of friendship and the comfort of knowing that he was valued and supported.
As the night drew to a close, Seungkwan felt a renewed sense of hope. Dino’s kindness had turned his bad day around, showing him that even when things seemed bleak, he had friends who cared and would always be there to lift him up.
