I listen Holiday by Green Day in my room while reading an Ed Hardy and other designer magazine.I hear a knock on my door.I get up and it's Isabella."Hey,Laikki's parents invited us to their Christmas party on Christmas Eve night and we are going."Isabella said.I was really happy.Christmas is in 3 days,but I haven't gotten anyone presents."Wait,can we go to the mall?I want to by my friends a Christmas presents."I asked and we soon arrived at the mall.It sucks that my sister has to work on Christmas,Christmas Eve,and the rest of the week.I bumped into someone."Hey watch where you going!"I look up.It was Tiffany who said that."Oh God you again?!"I said.This was going to be a serious cat and dog fight.Instead of helping me,Isabella runs up to Justin."Isabella,are you serious?!" "Look if I stop saying anything based on you,can you leave me alone?"I begged.She left.I found gifts for Sam,Cody,and Isabella,but Laikki was really hard.She's not girly,but I had an idea."Do you have anything based on Finland?"I asked the store clerk.It was perfect.A shirt that says "Made in Finland" with a barcode on it and a necklace with the Finland flag.The next day a blizzard comes.I live in Philadelphia,Pennsylvania,which is common to have a blizzard.(A/N:I don't know how Philly is like because I live in this place filled with hurricanes called Florida).I started to wrap the presents and hide them in my closet.When Isabella came home,we both put up the Christmas tree.I look for what type of clothes I should wear to Laikki's Christmas party and found the perfect clothes to wear.The thing I'm worried about is the mistletoe.If I'm under there with Cody,nightmares and humiliation will come.If Sam was there,same thing will happen.

So I'm just going to avoid the mistletoe.Finally,the day has come."Merry Christmas,Jake!"Laikki hugs me."Merry Christmas.Here's your present."I said."I'm dying for you to meet someone!"She said.Laikki yanks me."Leo meet Jake.Jake meet Leo."This tall guy shakes my hand.Is that her boyfriend?I thought."This is my cousin who flew from Finland.He only speaks Finnish." I was relieved that it was her cousin.I wanted to be friends with him.I show him my Psp and how to play it.Leo enjoyed it."Laikki,can I talk to you a sec?"I asked.We go to her room.Dark purple walls with black sides.We sat on her bed."So what did you want to say?"She asks.Her friends are not here because they traveled out of the state."I don't mean to hurt you,but how come your parents and the rest of family are normal,but you're not?"I asked.She became silent."That's the same shit I hear almost everyday,except they make fun of me and bullying is now worse in my life.Was it the right choice to get these arms and legs?"Laikki turns to me."Everyone calling me names and making mean comments of my race like "Oh go back to your poor country.Americans don't want you here!"I deal with this crap and shit everyday and there are those days I want to commit suicide or go back to Finland.I never wanted to be born.When I look to the mirror,I see myself as a helpless,weak person."Laikki starts to cry.I hug her.I didn't know what to do."Laikki,after my parents was deported,I wrote carved something to commemorate them and this reminds me that God,Virgin Mary,and Jesus is with me,including other angels and saints.I try to think happy thoughts,but I always think of you." She gets up and looks at her window."You're the only one who makes me feel I belong here."Laikki said.

We went downstairs and enjoy the rest of the Christmas party.Cody and Sam left,but after they left,a strong,dangerous blizzard.That means I'm going to have to stay the rest of the night at Laikki's.As tweens,it was just me and her and the only kids there.Her cousin is 15 years old.The next morning,it was Christmas morning.It sucks that my sister has to work.I wake up and look around.I don't really anything of what happened last night.I look at Laikki and she is still sleeping.I look around to find a Psp charger,but no luck.Laikki wakes up."Hey,Merry Christmas."She said then yawns and stretches."Back to you." I look at her clock and when we both went downstairs,we woke up late.Laikki hands me my present.It's the thing that I always wanted:Ed Hardy sneakers,shirt,jacket,and jeans."This is awesome!"I had to hug her."Hope it fits!"She said.When she opened the present I gave to her,Laikki had a smile."Someone who respects where I come from." "Here,let me put on the necklace."I said.She ties her hair into a ponytail to make it easier.We sat on our knees next to the fireplace and to me,that was a kissing scene.Problem is her parents and the rest of the adults from the party last night was there.With the present,I want to show her a good friend I can be and I respect where she comes from.
