As night grew darker, Kala anxiously wandered the palace grounds in search of her brother, Prince Kal. She had not seen him throughout the marriage festivities, and she yearned for his presence and blessings on her new journey as the queen consort to King Chandrashekhar. Kala was well aware of her brother's disapproval of her marriage to the king, but she hoped to mend their strained relationship and seek his guidance in navigating the challenges that lay ahead.

The moon cast a silver glow over the palace as Kala made her way to the river banks where Prince Kal often sought solitude. She scanned the area in hopes of spotting her elusive brother, but he was nowhere to be found. Frustration and worry gnawed at her heart as she wondered where he could be on such an important day to her.

Meanwhile, Prince Kal sat alone by the river, lost in thought as he gazed up at the twinkling stars above. His mind was consumed with conflicting emotions – anger, hurt, and a deep sense of betrayal. He could not bear to witness his beloved sister marry a man he despised, a man who he believed was unworthy of her love and devotion.

Unbeknownst to Kala, Prince Kal had made a decision to distance himself from the festivities, unable to bear the sight of her marrying King Chandrashekhar. He knew that his absence would hurt her, but he could not bring himself to fake joy in the presence of a man who had brought such sorrow into their lives.

Back at the palace, Kala finally decided to seek out King Chandrashekhar in hopes of finding solace in his company. She entered his chambers, her cheeks became red  with shy and her eyes were searching for her husband. Chandrashekhar, sensing her unease, gently took her hand and led her outside to the gardens where they could speak privately.

As they walked, Chandrashekhar spoke of his love for Kulina and his desire to make her happy. He confessed that he wanted to ask Queen Kala for her permission to marry Kulina , a woman he had loved long before he met her. The revelation stunned Kala and was taken aback by the king's request, though she knew of his affection for Kulina. She hesitated, unsure of how to respond to such a sudden and unexpected proposal. Before she could gather her thoughts, they heard the sound of bells and drums in the distance – a signal of an impending attack on the palace.

In a flurry of activity, Kala and Chandrashekhar rushed to defend the palace from the unknown attackers. As the palace guards mobilized to protect the royal family, Kala's thoughts raced with worry for her missing brother and the safety of her new husband.

As the battle raged on outside, Kala found herself alone in the chaos of the night. She wandered through the darkened hallways, the sound of screams and clashing swords echoing in her ears. She felt a sense of helplessness wash over her, as she realized the fragility of the life she had built for herself in the palace.

Suddenly, a figure emerged from the shadows – it was Prince Kal, battered and bruised but alive.
