"Do you want me to drop you off?" Hyunjin asked, glancing over as Felix carefully styled his hair.

"No, how many times are you going to ask?" Felix shot him a frustrated look, grabbing his bag and phone.

Hyunjin sighed softly. "Your parents entrusted me with your safety, so it's my job to make sure you're okay."

"Guess what? I'm nineteen, old enough to take care of myself," Felix said, brushing past Hyunjin, their shoulders briefly touching.

"For God's sake, stop being a brat all the time," Hyunjin said, picking up his leather office bag and heading downstairs.

"And for God's sake, let me do whatever the hell I want," Felix shot back, opening the door of their shared mansion.

"Stop with the attitude, and maybe I'll trust you enough to let you go out," Hyunjin replied.

Felix stepped outside, his frustration palpable in his stride. Hyunjin followed, trying to keep his tone calm despite his own irritation.

Felix threw his bag into the backseat of the car and slammed the door. "You don't get it, do you? I need to make my own decisions."

Hyunjin leaned against the car, crossing his arms. "It's not about control. It's about responsibility. If you want to be treated like an adult, start acting like one."

Felix glared at him, his patience wearing thin. "Maybe if you didn't constantly treat me like a kid, I wouldn't act like one."

Hyunjin sighed, rubbing his temples. "Look, I'm just trying to look out for you. It's hard to trust you when you keep pushing me away."

Felix shook his head, the tension between them heavy. "Whatever."

With that, Felix drove off, leaving Hyunjin standing in the driveway, watching him go.

After Felix's engagement to Hyunjin, Felix's parents had moved to Australia to expand their business, leaving Felix in Korea to finish his studies. Hyunjin, now overseeing the business left by them in Korea, had been entrusted with Felix's care. They lived in a mansion provided by Felix's parents, symbolizing both trust and responsibility.

Despite their parents' expectations, Felix and Hyunjin felt increasingly confined by their situation. They avoided discussing their engagement with friends, and if questioned about their relationship, they would simply describe each other as roommates. Their engagement remained a closely guarded secret, known only to their families.

Hyunjin locked the door behind him and made his way to the office.

"Good morning, Mr. Hwang," Chan, his personal assistant, greeted with a polite nod.

"Morning," Hyunjin replied, settling into his chair.

Chan handed over a stack of files. "Here are the reports you requested. I've also scheduled a meeting with the finance team for this afternoon."

"Great, thanks. Anything urgent I need to know about?"

Chan checked his notes. "Yes, there's a new development with the merger negotiations. I suggest you review the latest updates before the meeting. Also, Mr. and Mrs. Lee have requested a time to talk to you whenever you're free."

"Understood," Hyunjin said, flipping through the documents. "I'll make time for them. Anything else on the agenda today?"

"Just the usual follow-ups and a few calls. I'll keep you updated on any changes," Chan said, preparing to leave.
