Slime monster.

It was Friday afternoon, last class of the day we were graduating soon and we need to think about our careers, i already knew i was going down the hero path, I've been recommended there by my brother Mirio.

"I already know you all want to go the hero path!" our teacher said smiling while everybody started using their quirks, minus me and Katsuki. Oh and Midoriya of course. In all honesty the only people who really have a chance on being a hero in this class is me and Katsuki.

"Hey teach! dont lump me in with this bunch of losers, im the real deal. the only people here to get into the hero course is me and MAYBE Y/N. these people are going to end up as side kicks to some busted dealer ha!"

I looked over to see my longtime rival and friend Katsuki Bakugou. "Dont think your better then me Kats! ill beat your ass any day i want" I said smirking.

"Lets go ill take you all on!" He said being cocky.

"Huh you do have impressive test results, you and Togata are pretty close maybe you both will get into U.A High." the teacher said as classmates erupted in chatter.

"Oh yeah Midoriya dont you want to go to U.A too?" Everyone's head whipped around including mine. Midoriya? Maybe the support class but hero? No offense to him but there's no way without a quirk, lets be realistic here...

Before i knew it Katsuki was blowing up his desk and saying rude stuff to him. "Katsuki sit down, dont be so harsh on him, let the kid dream alright?" I said with my hand on his shoulder.

"Tch Whatever Wildcard"

"Kats just because i want that to be my hero name doesnt mean you have to call me thats all the time!" i sunk back down in my seat and the rest of he day played off.

The bell was about to go before Katsuki put his hand on my shoulder. "Sparing at my house after school?" I nodded my head smirking. "Hell yeah! ill beat your ass again!"

He rolled his eyes before saying "yeah right"

"Whatever ill see you at 4:30 Sparky" I said before leaving these classroom and walked outside to see a familiar car and my eyes lit up. I ran up to the car and saw the door open. "Mirioo!" i yelled. the door swung open and i jumped into mirios arms like a little kid.

"What are you doing here!" I said smiling. "U.A Teachers had to leave today because of some villains so i had the day off! thought id pick you up squirt!" he said smiling.

I walked over to the passengers side and smiled while i sat down. "So hows school been? Youll be applying for U.A in a few months yes?" He said keeping his eyes on the road.

"Its been really good, ive been getting stronger! Ive been training alot, speaking of, i wont be able to see you after 4:30 me and Katsuki are training" I said smiling

"Katsuk-? Oh that Bakugou kid youve told me about! when will you two start dating huh?" He said smirking. "Eh? uhm never Mirio like i would date Katsuki." i rolled my eyes.

"For sure!" he said sticking a thumb out and smiling.

Me and Mirio continued to chat and just drive around the city catching up, after around an hour we arrived home and i thanked him for the little drive around. We both walked inside and dad immidiently ran over and hugged Mirio.

"im getting ready to go to Katsuki's, dad" I said putting my bag down.

"Alright be safe!" he said smiling. I walked upstairs and grabbed a gym bag, i put on deoderant and put a towel and clothes in my bag. i changed into baggy sweats and a sports bra. and grabbed all the other necessities.

I suddenly got a amber alert (For when there is a villain attack) from my phone "I hope the heros get there fast...and any civilians are okay.." I checked my phone and saw i was late. "Shit!" I began to call him but ended up getting no answer.

"huh thats weird whatever" I said my goodbyes and began the walk to Katsuki's house. I got there at around 4:56 and i knocked at the door. The door slowly opened to reveal a terrified Masaru.

"Is everything alright Mr.Bakugou? Is Katsuki home?" i looked behind to see Mitsuki watching the TV before she locked eyes with me and ran over pushing Masaru out of the way and bringing me into a hug.

"Thank God your okay Y/N" She said hugging me. "Wheres Katsuki?" I asked before she pulled me inside and sat me down. she didnt say anything she just watched the TV.

"A Junior high student is currently being held captive by a sludge monster, why on earth are the heros not doing anything?" the lady on the news said. I looked at the video and my eyes widen in horror, it was katsuki.

"I-I have to go, Mitsuki i will be back i promise you." I give her a hug as she smiles at me and i run out the door.

Please be okay. He is still my best friend even if we are rivals at some points. I throw out 5 random cards hoping one will help me Cmon cmon plus 4... okay i guess a plus 2 will work.

I began to go faster, feeling the wind hit me hard. i try to go to the scene but i get stopped everytime from caution paper and crowds.

Shit what am i going to do.

I suddenly saw an explosion of air in the sky. that has to be it and i ran towards that way. i arrived at the scene and saw All Might there. I saw Katsuki on the ground and went to run over.

"Katsuki!" i screamed as i went to go over before getting stopped by an officer. "Miss your not allowed to go over. "That's my best fucking friend let me through!" i protested.

"You will have to wait." he said putting his hand in my face. "This is bullshit! someone check if hes okay instead of standing around!" I shouted while pointing to him.

I looked over at him and saw him looking at the ground muttering to himself as All Might detained the villain.

A few police officers were walking him to a ambulance to get checked out and i walked over to the car.

I waited from the sidelines hoping he was okay.

I saw him look at me and i immediately ran over to him and pushed the paramedics out of the way and hugged him.

"You idiot! Are you alright!?" i yelled at him. "Tch i-I'm fine dumbass." He said hesitantly.

"You better fucking be alright!" I said putting my hands on his shoulders.

"Why you'd miss me or something wildcard?" He said smirking. My cheeks went red at realizing how that sounded.

"No! i just wouldn't be able to beat your ass anymore in training!" I said smiling. "Yeah fucking right!" He rolled his eyes.

He got finished getting checked out and talking to the police and we walked back to his house to a very worried mother and father.

That was all months ago. Currently me and Katsuki are at the starting line for the U.A Entrance exam which should be starting as soon as present mic counts us down....
