Through my eyes

The world is full of art, our canvas; we have to choose whether we want to add more colors or ignore how we can make it better.

Look around you. Green trees and grass, beautiful flowers, ombré sunsets, and cool weathers. It sounds perfect. Wouldn't you want to spend your life somewhere where you can always see something so beautiful, and peaceful?

The world is our canvas, we have the choice to add our own colors to the world.

I guess I never realized the true meaning of art, that art doesn't have to be painted or drawn, that art doesn't have to be perfect; you decide for yourself if it's perfect. Everything around us can be art if we put our minds to it. The beauty of the world is why most of us are still around.

I was always the quiet person who observed, didn't matter what was happening. The most common thing I can recall is being at the dinner table with my family, conversing and laughing, having a good time. I was the one who observed—the laughter, what was being talked about, and how everyone felt at that moment.

Humane Haruki would be eating his food, complimenting his mother's cooking skills, along with Erii and Teo who helped out with her. He's also glaring at Hibiki since he always spoke with food in his mouth. He thought this habit was disgusting, but no matter how much he glared, Hibiki would ignore him.

Heedless Hibiki, would be talking with food in his mouth, not caring about the possibility of him choking. Soon, he would speak the wrong way and start coughing, the siblings around him would pat his back as he coughed his lungs out. He would then roll his eyes at Haruki who'd be smirking at him, knowing the possibilities. Hibiki would soon flip him off and then get scolded by our mother.

Joyous Joey, who was usually quiet, always joined in when Hibiki would get his attention. Telling him not to be the "ugly duckling." Joey would eventually talk about his time at school and often pout when Hibiki would say something sly or smart to him. They were close so Joey didn't mind it.

Eager Erii would be smiling ear to ear at the amount of compliments she had gotten, she always loved helping out with her mom during meal preps. Her face would be saddened at the thought of one of us saying she didn't do good enough, but no one ever said that. It was always "You did great, Erii!" "Can you fix more?" These types of stuff would have Erii giggling and smiling throughout dinner.

Thoughtful Teo would be trying to get the credit he deserved too. He'd make a few jokes here and there just to lighten the tone if he thought it needed to be lightened up. He'd mostly talk to Seo throughout dinner, talking about random stuff as they giggled. I always thought their friendship was cute, especially since they were twins.

Simple Seo was sometimes quiet, but that was only when she was thinking hard about something. I always noticed this and I'm pretty sure Teo did too, but I always saw how he would lighten up the mood just to make Seo laugh. I would laugh to myself if I saw this happen.

Kindhearted Kaz, who came to dinner often, was a nice girl. She always asked everyone about their day, but I realized she never spoke about her day. She'd always say "It was good." Nothing else. Of course, they'd try to get more out of her, but she'd say that her day was just normal. Typical Kaz, worried about everyone but herself.

Tender Thea, the youngest of them all, always talked about the things she learned when studying cardiology. I thought she was very smart for her age, especially when she spoke in big words. I would chuckle to myself when she couldn't pronounce a word but she'd pout at me if she caught me. I'd put my hands up in the air and then ruffle her hair, telling her how smart she was. Thea is the only one who acknowledges my quietness, giving me a comforting smile before asking a question, gaining the attention of everyone.
