Three months of blood being spilt on the gruelling battlefields, planet by planet the Republic forces began to turn the tide against the never ending waves of Mandalorians, but unlike the Clone Wars where droids were clueless at times the Mandalorians were not, they were vindictus and crude, if they weren't in a close combat situation they were bombing from a far, no prisoners or civilians were left in their wake, but, the 501st gave them pause. Y/n gave them pause. He would find weaknesses in their armour, exploit their bombing runs with flanking maneuvers, and most of all. He gave everyone hope.

On the world of Corellia Y/n strode through the war-torn landscape, his senses heightened as the acrid scent of smoke filled the air. He could hear the distant roar of starships engaging in aerial skirmishes overhead and the deep thud of artillery in the distance. The 501st had established a makeshift base on one of the core worlds, Corella, a planet that had become one of the bloodiest battlegrounds in the Republic’s fight against the Mandalorian onslaught.

Despite the chaos surrounding him, Y/n remained focused. He was neither a Jedi who had learned to adapt and survive in the face of overwhelming odds. Whispers among the ranks called him "The Wraith of Corellia," for his uncanny ability to slip behind enemy lines and sow disorder within their ranks.

As he surveyed the battlefield, his mind raced with strategies. He had identified key vulnerabilities in the Mandalorian armor, particularly around the joints, which were often unprotected or too rigid to allow for swift movement. With each engagement, he meticulously instructed his squadron to strike at these weak points and encourage others to do the same.

Y/n’s voice cut through the noise as he gathered his troops near the war room, a room barely holding together with holographic projections of troop movements flickering in and out of focus and determination etched on their faces. They trusted him, and he relished that responsibility. As the battle unfolded, the Mandalorians launched their typical barrage of chaos—bombers swooping down, tried-and-true tactics meant to break the spirit of the Republic forces. But Y/n was ready.

He shouted, signaling the first part of his plan. The 501st moved cohesively, storming forwards with a precision that took the Mandalorians by surprise. A series of well-placed shots tore through their lines and before they could regroup, Y/n flanked them from the shadows, exploiting the momentary disarray. He struck like a phantom in the night, causing panic among the enemy troops. As the dust settled, a hushed silence fell over the battlefield as they surveyed the damage. Y/n felt a swell of pride—not just for their victory, but for what it represented. In the heart of chaos, they had offered something vital, hope.

After the battle, as the minority of the 501st tended to their wounded, Y/n walked among them, offering words of comfort and camaraderie. he encouraged, his voice steady and sure as the sun began to rise over the battlefield, casting a golden hue upon the remnants of war. Y/n looked to the horizon, envisioning what it would be like when this all ended. They were not just soldiers they were a symbol of resilience. And for each moment of despair, they would rise again undaunted and unyielding, like the very stars against the darkness.

For as long as he could fight, he would ensure that the Mandalorian forces would pay for every ounce of blood they spilled not just for the Republic, but for the countless lives they threatened. The hope flickering in the eyes of his fellow soldiers urged him on, a fire that ignited his purpose in this relentless war. Through strength and strategy, perseverance and unity, they wouldn’t just turn the tide they would forge a new legacy. And bring an end to Darth Sidious.

Upon returning to the Defender, Y/n and Rex stood around the holotable gathering all the intelligence they've been sent by Meetra and Alek who were in a skirmish in deep space, trying to push back the Mandalorian fleet that was growing in numbers by the week.
