(Narrator)

The day is saturday. It is 7:00 Am, which is early for being awake in this house of five.

In the five bedroom, eight bathroom mansion Jay is down stairs making breakfast for everyone else.

The five of them live in a mansion a little bit away from the college they all go to. With the way their lives are set up, it wasn't that hard to convince their parents to the way they are living now.

Soon after Jay starts cooking, Kiima joins him. She's eyeing Jay and trying to see what he is cooking.

"I can help, if you want me to," Kiima says while standing up and walking over to Jay.

Jay looks at her, then at the pan in front of him, "Go sit down. We both know you can't cook." Which was true. There were past experiences with fire trucks from Kiimas cooking.

Jay shoos Kiima away and she walks away rolling her eyes.

Jay glances over to see Alex joined Kiima in waiting for breakfast. Jay grabs five plates out of the cabinet and sits them down on the table.

"We have cheese grits, sausage, and bacon. Come get what you want. We need to start setting up for the party in a while," Jay says while washing the dishes that he used to cook.

Everyone sits down at the main dining room table.

They have two dining rooms. One for them which seats 6. Then another one which seats 20. They don't use that one often only when there are a bunch of guests.

Upstairs Jake brushes his teeth in his bathroom, then dries his hands off on a towel. He walks out of the bathroom, out of his room, to see Sky's door to his room is still shut.

Jake walks in and Sky is still laying down asleep. The light to his bathroom is on and his balcony door is opened slightly. He must have gotten up and layed back down.

He walks over to close Sky's door and turn off the light in his bathroom. He got done and went  to walk to the side of the bed Sky slept on. He got half way there and noticed something.

"Is that my jacket?" He says a little too loud. He looked at the desk his jacket was sitting on and then heard Sky moving. Sky slowly wakes up and turns his head to the direction Jake is standing.

"Why the hell are you in my room?" He says not even fully opening his eyes to see that it was Jake. He can just tell the person by their presence.

Jake walks over to the bed and squats down. He notices sweat beads on Sky's face which looks like he had run a marathon .

He thought that until he realized how pale Sky's face looks. Jake reaches out his hand to feel Skys temperature on his forehead.

"You didn't answer my question. Get the fuck out of my room," Sky smacks Jakes hand from his face.

Sky rolls over and closes his eyes back. There's a few seconds of silence before Jake leans up.

"Everyone is downstairs. I think someone is cooking breakfast. I don't know who but I know it's not Kiima. I just came to tell you that," Jake says.

Sky doesn't say anything which led Jake to stand up and start heading out to the door.

"I'm taking my Jacket back," Jake says, which Sky just mumbles to.

Jake goes to his room. He sits down on his bed. He reaches down bringing the jacket close to his face.

"It smells like him," Jake thinks while showing a small smile before realizing what he was doing.

Jake and the others have always liked the smell of Sky even though he was a beta and didn't put off any pheromones. They just discovered it was his natural scent.

Jake puts down the jacket and goes to his side table. He gets his phone off of its charger. Then he heads down stairs to eat breakfast with the others.

"Good morning. Sky's still in bed and he didn't seem to feel good when I was up there a minute ago," Jake says as he peeks his head in the opening of the dining room.

One thing about this group of friends is when one person goes through something, it is all hands on deck. They share everything and understand everyone's feelings. Everyone cares for everyone NO MATTER WHAT.

So with what they heard from Jake about Sky not feeling great, the idea of having a party was way out of the window.

"What about the party?" Alex asks, making everyone's head turn towards him.

"Don't be dramatic. I'm fine. We are still going to have the party," Sky says as he passes Jake to go sit down and eat breakfast.

Everyone makes sure Sky is okay before they go further to make plans for the party.

Jake orders the drinks, Alex orders pizza and wings, and Jay calls his old friend to DJ at the party. Kiima and Sky didn't order anything, they just did most of the party planning and set everything up.

"Sky? Will you help me get pool floats out of the pool house?"Kiima says as she peeked into Sky's room, barely opening the door. Sky nods, getting out of his bed.

The two of them walk down to the basement. The basement has a nicely sized gym, bar area, and a small pool. Then a hallway leading to a bathroom. Outside the basement they had a bigger pool with a hot tub. There is a big sized yard and pool house.

Kiima goes into the pool house to retrieve the pool floats. They both sit on one of the 10 pool chairs. Half of the floats needed to be blown up so they first started inflating them themselves.

"Kiima. I think we need to get the air compressor. If we blow all of these with our mouths we are going to die before we even start the party," Sky says, taking deep breaths from exhaustion.

Kiima agrees and text Alex to bring the air compressor out of the garage. They both stand up and put their feet in the pool while they wait.

On the other hand Jake agrees to go pick the stuff up that everyone ordered. He gets in the car and starts driving to the destinations.

He glances over at the passenger seat and smiles when he sees a picture of Him, Jay, Alex, and sky when they were younger.
