Unfair Choices.

One final fight

Buck

"Where were you?" Mark asked, sitting on the stairs. "I was with my family." Buck replied. He wasn't lying, Eddie and Chris were his family. They had been for years. Mark was pissed off. "I know that's a lie. Maddie was with Chim, and you're too childish to talk to your mom and dad." He screamed. "First off I do talk to my mama and dad. I was with my family Chris and Eddie." Buck was on the verge of tears. How could Mark say such a thing. "God your so childish. Athena and Bobby aren't your parents. You are so lonely that you inserted yourself into Chris and Eddie's lives, they aren't your family." Mark continues yelling "You're so needy and god it's so exhausting ."

A few moments went by before Mark started talking again. "You have to choose." Wh-What." Buck heard his heart break. He had lost feelings for Mark a while ago but Mark  was using Buck's family against him. "Don't do this, don't make me choose between my family." Buck says, looking angrier by the second. "Oh poor Evan having to make a grown up decision ."  Mark starts teasing "My name is Buck!" Buck screams at this point. "Get the hell out of my apartment now." "No we are finishing this argument like adults." Mark says. "Get out" Buck repeats himself. "Fine but when Eddie leaves you, like everyone else don't come crawling back to me." Mark screamed as he slammed the door. 

Buck couldn't help but cry. He ended up in his bathroom puking up dinner. He propped himself up against his door frame. He wasn't upset because they broke up. He was mad because what Mark was saying was true he was childish. He took over all of their lives without even asking. Buck found a few razor blades. He started to cut. At first they were light barely breaking the skin. Eventually he just kept going up and down his arms he cut. He cut deep to the point where the pain started to actually feel nice. The last thing Buck remembers is covering his arms with a  towel before falling asleep. 

Eddie

Eddie kept feeling the couch vibrate but couldn't figure out what it was. That is until he found Buck's phone. He didn't mean to read the messages but when he didn't like what he read.

Mark: You are so childish, and for what huh Evan. 

Mark:  Eddie will never love you. 

Mark:  How dare you break up with me. 

Mark:  God they are going to leave you just like everyone else then what huh. 

The texts were just them arguing back and forth for hours. Eddie decided to call Carla and ask her to come over. When she did Eddie hopped in his truck and drove over to Buck's apartment. it had been a few hours since Buck left so he didn't understand how Buck didn't realize his phone was missing.  

Eddie finally arrived at Bucks apartment and started banging on the door. He got no response. Eddie used his key to open the door to find a pretty empty looking apartment. He walked around and that's when he saw Buck's bathroom light on. He climbed up the stairs to find an unconscious Buck laying in his own blood. Eddie quickly ran over to Buck checking for a pulse. 

"Buck, please open your eyes." Eddie screams. Buck slightly opens them and gets out quietly. "I'm sorry." Eddie picked him up and got him cleaned off.  Luckily when he was a paramedic in the military stuff like this happened all the time. The only difference was in the military they were shrapnel wounds from explosions. He got Buck bandaged up and laid him in his bed. Eddie sat next to him. 

"Why" is all Eddie could seem to cry out, before burying his head in his hands. Buck couldn't speak he hurt Eddie without even meaning to. Eddie hated to see the man he loved hurt like this. 

"I-I'm sorry Eds." Buck finally choked out. What else could I say? What if Eddie hated me? Buck couldn't hold it in anymore he just broke. He was crying pretty heavily at this point. "Ev please tell me what happened. Why did you do this?" Eddie said wrapping his arms around Buck. "Me and Mark broke up. I don't care that we broke up though. We have been fighting for weeks and tonight he took it way too far." Buck said into Eddie's chest. Buck sat up to make eye contact with Eddie. "I'm sorry for inserting myself into your life. I know I am a lot and I'd get it if you were just done with me." Buck's baby blues started to fill with tears and it hurt Eddie to see him this way. 

Eddie didn't even know what to do or even say. He cupped Buck's face with his palm and pulled him in placing a sweet slow kiss on Buck's lips. When Eddie pulled away the look on Buck's face was cute and shocked. "Sorry I um didn't mean to make this awkward." Eddie said removing his hand from Buck's face to rub the back of his neck. Buck just looked at Eddie. Holy shit did Eddie Diaz just kiss me ? 

Eddie started to stand up when he felt Buck's hand grab his. He turned and was taken completely by surprise when Buck kissed him back.
