Salem was sitting on her throne looking at her seer that was watching the city. She stared at it for a bit until two hands placed themselves over her eyes.
???: Guess who.
Salem smiles knowing it was Tidus.
Salem: My son has finally decided to bless his mother with his presence.
Tidus was over his mother in the air with a smile. Salem smiles softly and rubs his face.
Tidus: Heya mom. Say, how about we hang out today? Just you and me?
Salem: My dear son, you know I love spending time with you, but I must work.
Tidus: Mom, you've been working day and night. You need some time to relax.
Salem thought about it and sighs.
Salem: Alright, that's fine. Where are we going?
Tidus: There is a village a few miles away from here. They have a festival today and I thought it would be wonderful to have fun. Maybe even meet someone.
Salem: My dear boy, I only care for you and this plan right now.
Tidus: Alright, alright you don't have to date anyone, but you can have fun mother.
Tidus crouches down and grabbed her hands.
Tidus: Just for tonight please.
Salem:.....(Sigh) Alright, I'll go.
Tidus smiles brightly making Salem smile again.
Tidus: I'm going to go get ready, I'll see you soon mom.
Tidus runs out the room. Salem stares for a bit then looked down.
Salem: Foolish child. You still love your mother even after all the wrong she has done.
Time skip
Tidus walked through the halls heading to the entrance as he was walking he accidentally bumps into someone.
Tidus: Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't-
He froze when he saw who he bumped into. It was Korra and boy was she pissed.
Korra: Watch where the fuck you are going.
Tidus: Y-Yes ma'am. I did-
Korra looked at Tidus with a glare.
Korra: Tch, pathetic. How are you supposed to be stronger than that brat if you're just a scared child?
Tidus looked down a bit sad....She rolls her eyes and walked away.
Korra: I can't believe you're stronger than me.
Tidus:.....
???: Are you ready?
Tidus looked back to see Salem.

Tidus:(Gasp) Whoa, mom you're beautiful!
Salem:(Laugh) Thank you son. Now, show me where this place is.
Tidus walked over and lifted his mother up.
He runs forward and jumps out of the castle into the sky. When they make it to the village Tidus was greeted by the village's leader.
Leader: Ah, Tidus. I'm so glad you came who is this wonderful woman.
Tidus: This is my mother.
Salem: My name is Sarah.
Salem bows at them as the leader tips his hat.
Salem: So, might I ask, what is this Festival for?
Leader: Every 20 years we celebrate the birth of our village. 100 years ago, the founder was known as an adventurer who always loved to travel but during his final years on remnant, he wanted to name this fine village Hope. Your son here is a great person. He saved us from an attack of the Grimm two weeks ago. You must be proud.
Salem smiles at Tidus happy he was still a hero at heart.
Salem: Of course, my dear son has a hopeful heart. That's why I named him Tidus.
They looked over to see Tidus playing with the children of the village.
Time skip
Salem and Tidus were sitting on chairs watching all the villagers have a wonderful time. Salem while eating ice cream looked at Tidus who was looking down.
Salem: What is it?
Tidus:......Am I...to kind hearted?
Salem: Is that a problem?
Tidus: Lady Korra, why does she hate me.
Salem looked at Tidus.
Salem: Like us, she has been hurt.
Tidus: By who?
Salem: The Sun God. She loves him so much....but hates him before I went to retrieve her from her world the sun God stopped her from completing her mission.
Tidus: You've told me that. He died doing what was right....but why does she hate him for it.
Salem thought of when her and Ozma fought.
Salem: She couldn't live in a world without her knight when she lost him, she thought she could do anything to get him back...but it was pointless.
Flashback
Korra absorbed Vaatu becoming the dark avatar.
(Salem: But when she finally found out the love of her life was alive...She became rageful and took it out on a world that was once theirs.)
Korra opened her eyes and they glowed red she then floats in the air and shoots a blast into the ground that destroyed Republic city.
Flashback ends
Salem: She believes she can rule this world and make him suffer.
Tidus:.....It wasn't their fault though.
Salem: When your angry you take it out on the first thing you see. When you have power that no one can rival you can destroy everything you once loved. Believe me, I know.
Tidus:....You're different though mom...always have been.
Salem smiles at Tidus.
Salem: Even when I've done so much wrong in this world you always think there is good in me.
Tidus: Because I love you, mother.
Salem:(Grabs his hand) And I love you as well.
They smile at each other.
Salem: So, you and Emerald.
Tidus:(Blush) (Nervous chuckle) About that...
Salem: No need to explain. But she must know if she were to hurt you in any kind of way, I will make her regret it.
Tidus:(Sweat drop)
He then smiled at Salem.
(Tidus:....I wish things could be different. I wish you and father would have talked instead of this war.)
