Chapter 6
~Phantom insects and arcade~Barefoot, as always when I'm home, I walk around the house towards the kitchen wanting to grab something to snack.
I feel a tingling sensation on my foot, and immediately I flinch.
Ugh, I just hate that random tingling feeling on one's skin. I hate phantom insects just as much as I hate the real ones. But this time when I look down just to be sure, my eyes are met with a gigantic cockroach.
It's as big as a piece of grape and I jump up, screaming as loud as I can, disgusted by its antennas that are wiggling at me.
I run away and jump on top of the nearest couch.
"SOMEBODY HELP. ITS COMING AT ME. FUVK. GROSS."
I cry out as it begins crawling towards me.
Can that thing fly? FUVK I BET IT CAN.I fiddle out my phone from my pocket, my hands shaking.
Immediately I dial Jungwon's number. The moment I do the doorbell rings and I frown.
Carefully, I run towards it, shivering at the thought of almost stepping on that fat-ass cockroach.
"Oh my God, my savior. Please kill him."
"Kill whom?" He asks utterly confused, which I understand considering that it's 8 in the morning on a Sunday.
"That cockroach," I spit out the name in disgust, feeling him crawl around my foot again, though I know this time, it's just my imagination playing with my mind.
I turn around and see it quickly crawling to us, as though running a marathon.
Is he that desperate to run into death's arms? Oblivious thing.
My eyes widen in realization that he's coming closer and I quickly grab Jungwons arm, pushing him in front of me while hiding behind him.
I'm still clutching onto his arm, wiggling it in excitement.
"Kill it!" I say nervously and he chuckles."Don't worry, Y/n...but please could you..,"
He turns around to look at me with a smug grin. "...could you let go of me, hmm?"Immediately, I throw my hands in the air, flustered.
I open my mouth to say something though no sound comes out.The cockroach.
Wait, right, the cockroach, I remember and my eyes search for the insect.Jungwon finds it first and I run to the kitchen, handing him a glass.
"Okay..." He breathes out before aiming to imprison the little cockroach under the given glass.
After the cockroach is safe and secure under the glass and Jungwon is about to throw him out of the house so he cannot harm anyone, I sigh in relief before slumping down onto the couch.
The moment he joins me, my phone begins to ring, I look at the ID, my face instantly lighting up. I pick up the call.
"Ahhh worldeu wideu hansomee" I greet, mocking his accent.
He laughs "Yeah it's me! Let's go to the arcade together tomorrow!!"
