RECAP:
"Ooh. Fancy. So, when you meet your new friends. You need to tell me all about them. Okay?""Okay.. If I even make new friends."
"Oh, come on Skyler. Why are you so hard on yourself?"
"I don't know. I just don't think many people will like me. I'm not a popular person."
"Honey, its time to go. We have a flight to catch." I turn around to see dad wearing a suit and tie.
"Bye Ellie. I will call you everyday. I'm really gonna miss you."
"Bye skyler." She says while standing up to leave but hugs me first. I swear I saw a tear roll down her cheek.
Williams and the next door neighbor
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
The movers started to drive to Williams last night so the stuff is already there. All we have to do is bring the rest of our clothes in a siutcase.
After Ellie left we packed up the car and headed towards the airport. It was a rental car because we had the drivers tow the other car to the airport we are landing at.
Once we got to the airport a valet person took our car back to the agency and we checked in. It was a long wait because the plane had a delay by 20 minutes.
Once the plane finally got there we boarded the plane and found our seats. It was a four hour flight until Williams so I caught up on some sleep and watched netflix on my phone for the rest of the time. Dad was making business calls the whole time so I never took out my ear buds.
After what felt like forever the small voice box above my head began to talk as the flight attendants voice rang through the plane.
"We will be beginning our decent in approximately five minutes. Please turn off all mobile devices so they don't interfere with the plane. Thank You!" the flight attendant says in a cheerful voice.
I do as I'm told and reach down to find my phone. Once I find it I turn it off and await the landing. Dad also turns off his phone to my surprise. He has been on the phone this entire time with other business men and this is the first time he has had it off. After three minutes the captain begins to talk on the intercom and says that we are descending.
After the plane lands and we find our luggage at the conveyer belt we head to the food court to get some food. I am starving. as we enter the food court I look at all the restaurants we can eat at and decide there is only a couple decent ones because I don't like fast food. Fast food makes me sick.
We finally decide to leave the airport and go to a small café that dad had heard about before we came here. I'm glad we left that food court, it had nothing good inside of it.
"So, Do you like the city yet?" Dad asks when we settle into the café.
"Dad. We have only been here for a total of an hour and half of that was in an airport. How exactly am I supposed to judge a city if I haven't seen it yet?" I ask. Wow, I'm judgmental.
"Okay. Okay. How about after we eat we go to the nearest mall and we buy some new clothes. You have been saying you need some."
"Uhmm. I think Im fine Dad. I don't need any new clothes."
"Oh uhmm. I think I'm fine dad. I don't need any new clothes."
"Nope. Honey, you have been begging me to take you clothed shopping since forever and now all of a sudden you don't wanna do it?"
