"Hurry jungwonnnn, it's time!" Sunoo squealed in excitement after his friend, who clumsily put his stuff in the trunk of the car.
"I'm coming I'm coming" jungwon replied, hurriedly jumping into the back seat next to Jake who was equally as excited, "calm down boys, you all ready?" Sunoo's mother smiled, starting up the car.
It was currently the first day of term at ARLIM University for the three who had all recently turned 18.
ARLIM, the school of all things supernatural and magic, only a selected amount of teens at age 15 get exclusive invites to attend after college, and thankfully for the trio who's families also attended over the years, they got in.
All the magic tuition coming in handy for them.
After three hours they pulled up on a crowded road in the middle of trees, leading into the woods.
Sunoo looked out the window with a smile, kids- (well new adults) his age all stood with their family's and luggage, hugging their parents and bidding farewells to their siblings.
'New friends!' Sunoo thought to himself as he stepped out of the car, followed by his mother and friends, "what do you think it'll be like? What if I don't get into the unit I want? What if-" Jake continued to ask question after question until a woman in a cloak like attire popped out of the trees with a mega phone.
"HELLO NEW STUDENTS, IM COUNCILLOR RAVEN, PLEASE FOLLOW ME TO YOUR NEW SCHOOL AND HOME, PARENTS PLEASE SAY YOUR GOODBYES!" She said into the device.
Sunoo turned to his mom and gave her one last hug and a kiss to the cheek, "bye mama, see you for Christmas break"
"Bye sunoo, don't grow up to fast in me now, I love you~" she pinched his cheek before taking off.
Now it was only the students left, a big group of 200 18 year olds stood together, there was a light buzz of excitement in the air as they were lead down a path into the woods.
"Hey, check it" jungwon jerked his head to the left as they walked along the leafy path, sunoo's eyes followed the direction and landed on a tall black haired male standing with a group of four others.
"Ugh, Niki" Jake rolled his eyes upon seeing the male, both him and jungwon forgetting that niki was also up to attend.
While they expressed their distaste about Niki's presence, sunoo couldn't help but blush a little, it's been a while since he'd seen Niki, back in highscool him and Niki also happened to have private tuition sessions with one another, something Jake and jungwon didn't need to know about.
In real life, sunoo was- no, he is meant to hate Niki, with every fibre in his body, the taller male being the one who constantly teased and poked fun at sunoo all through elementary, middle and high school.
Going into collage though, the tuition stopped and he hadn't seen Niki since.
That made sunoo glad but a twinge bit upset, their usual make out sessions in the high school bathrooms after everyone had left for home always made his heart skip a beat.
During high school tuition, sunoo found that for some reason, Niki couldn't seem to keep his hands to himself. He still remembers the first time Niki suddenly cornered him in the corner of the class room as soon as the tutor walked out and began to kiss him roughly.
Sunoo was confused and shocked, not sure why Niki would do that, but he found himself leaning in.
And from then...the make out sessions became a frequent thing to do in the bathrooms after school, skipping tuition just for it.
So it sort of bummed sunoo out when they graduated and lost all contact.
So seeing him now, all of sunoo old feeling rushed back, and he hated that.
"Yeah, I hate that he's here" Sunoo soured, agreeing with his best friends.
"I hope he doesn't cause you any trouble this year" Jake nudged sunoo's shoulder, jungwon nodded, "besides, there's no way you and him will end up in the same group, he already radiates the nasty Slytherin energy" Jake cringed.
"You're right, we probably won't even see each other for the whole year" sunoo gave a fake chuckle, even though the thought made him a little sad.
"OK PEOPLE, WE'RE ALMOST THERE, JUST SLOWLY WALK ALONG THE ROCKS OVER THIS RIVER AND JUST BEHIND THESE TREES THERE WE HAVE ARLIM!"
