Title: The Princess’s Drive

Princess Lila had always been spoiled, and everyone in the kingdom knew it. With her bubbly, bratty personality and a wardrobe full of pink, she loved the attention that came with being the only daughter of the King. On her 21st birthday, her father had decided to give her a gift he knew she would adore—a custom pink glitter car.

The morning was bright, and the palace gleamed as the new car was brought to the front of the royal estate. Lila, wearing a pink satin dress that shimmered in the sunlight, rushed out of the palace, her eyes wide and sparkling with excitement.

"Oh my gosh! Daddy, it's perfect!" she squealed, her voice echoing across the courtyard. The car was a bubblegum pink, covered in glitter, with plush seats and a Hello Kitty side mirror. The steering wheel was wrapped in pink fluffy fabric, matching the theme of her life. Everything about the car screamed luxury and excess.

She reached out for the keys with eager hands, but her father, King Aldric, held them just out of her reach. "Not so fast, Lila," he said, a serious tone breaking her excitement. "You’ll need to learn how to drive first."

Lila blinked, confusion washing over her. "No! Father, the driver can drive me like always. Why would *I* need to drive? That’s what servants are for!"

The King shook his head, remaining firm. "I bought this car for *you* to drive. It’s got everything you like—plush seats, Hello Kitty mirrors—and you need to enjoy it yourself. You’re not a child anymore, Lila."

An argument quickly erupted. Lila pouted, stomped her foot, and crossed her arms like she always did when she didn’t get her way. "This is ridiculous!" she exclaimed. "I'm a princess! Why would I need to do anything as *common* as driving? It's not like I asked for this!"

"You *are* going to drive this car, Lila. Enough with the tantrums. Tomorrow morning, I’ve arranged for a driving instructor to meet you," the King replied, unmoved by her theatrics.

After a long and heated exchange, filled with Lila's indignant huffing and her father’s unwavering determination, the King finally won. She stormed back inside the palace, slamming doors as she went, furious that she hadn’t won this battle.

The next morning, Lila came down the palace steps in her signature look—a pink mini dress with matching high heels. Her blonde hair was styled in perfect curls, and she had a pair of oversized sunglasses perched on her head. She had no interest in this driving lesson but was resigned to get it over with.

Waiting by the car was her instructor. He was tall, with dark hair slicked back and sharp, chiseled features. His cold, piercing gaze immediately annoyed her. Despite his handsome face, there was something about the way he looked at her that irritated Lila.

"Let’s get started," the instructor, Erik, said bluntly. He opened the car door, motioning for her to get in. "First, adjust the mirrors."

Lila stared at him blankly. "What?"

"The mirrors," he repeated, impatient. "You need to adjust them."

She tilted her head, pretending she knew what he was talking about, but then she caught sight of her own reflection. Instead of adjusting the mirrors, she brushed a piece of lint off her hair, focusing on herself in the mirror.

Erik rolled his eyes. "I don’t have time for your… girly stuff. This car is already unbearable with all the pink."

Lila whipped her head toward him, offended. "Excuse me? *This* car is a masterpiece, and you’re lucky to be in it! Who are you to insult it, you—*commoner*?"
