First pov:
As we strolled through the park, we suddenly bumped into Victoria. "Victoria!" I exclaimed with a warm smile.
She was the closest thing to a friend I had in this new world. She's the only one that understands me.
Chris raised an eyebrow and glanced back and forth between Victoria and me.
"You two know each other?" he asked. We pulled apart and shared a smile. I spoke up, "When I first got here, I stumbled into her."
Victoria eyed the two boys and then directed her gaze back at me. "Poor thing. I genuinely pity you. You're stuck with these dorks," she giggled, poking fun at the situation.
Nick began a playful protest, "Hey hey hey-" Before he could finish, we all erupted into laughter.
"They aren't too terrible though," I said and laughed. Victoria chimed in a playful tone, "Just wait."
I let out a lighthearted chuckle and shook my head. Victoria noticed the caramel apples but kept her thoughts to herself.
She quickly cleared her throat and shifted her gaze to my dress. "Oh my gosh, that's so cute! Where did you get it?" she asked. Before I could respond, Chris jumped in and answered.
Chris chimed in, "She made a dress out of Matt's curtains," which caused an outburst of laughter from Victoria. She managed to gasp out a question between laughter, "His favorite curtains?"
Nick nodded in confirmation, and all three of them continued laughing.
I defended myself, insisting, "You gotta admit, it looks nice," which only made them laugh even harder while nodding in agreement. Nick spoke with a slight chuckle, "Thank goodness we arrived when we did; otherwise, Matt would've blown up."
He then looked at Victoria and invited her, "Come hang out with us."
Victoria glanced at her fake wristwatch and replied with a smirk, "Oh, I wish I could...just kidding. Let's go." She linked arms with me, both of us smiling in amusement.
Victoria, Chris, Nick, and I continued walking together through the park. I curiously asked, "Is Matt always in a grumpy mood?" Chris and Nick exchanged a knowing glance before replying in unison, "Mattitude."
I jokingly said, "Yes that, the sass in that boy," and they chuckled in agreement.
Chris added with a smile, "He has his moments." I couldn't help but notice that Chris was quite attractive; his good looks didn't go unnoticed by me.
Chris noticed my gaze lingering on him and responded with a broad smile, followed by a flirtatious wink. A slight blush crept onto my face as I quickly shifted my gaze away.
Our exploration continued as we strolled around the city, discovering a Harry Potter shop. Victoria led the way as we entered the store, excited to check it out. Nick and Chris followed beside us.
She pulled out her phone and declared with enthusiasm, "First things first, you have to take this quiz. I need to know which house you belong to. I have a gut feeling that you're either a Slytherin or a Hufflepuff."
slytherin or hufflepuff? odd names
I took the phone from her and answered each question, then handed it back to her once I finished.
She examined the results and exclaimed, "Ah, so you're (ur house) nice!" She smiled widely, and grabbed my hand pulling me away from the boys to show me around the store and explained everything. (proud slytherin here 🥸)
She's a nerd.
We continued exploring the store, examining various items, when we spotted Chris and Nick at a distance, having a playful wand duel.
