Paradise : Is It?

Encounter

Jongin was shocked to see them, as if he didn't see seven adults scientists in front of him but seven children.

He could see Baek giggling like a crazy while try to come to him and hold his hand, on the other hand it was Chanyeol who played keyboard or something like that in the thin air. There was Jongdae who sang the shark song in his high resonant voice. Others were also busy in silly stuffs and more over they couldn't recognize Jongin at all.

Jongin's POV :-

I was so overwhelmed and speechless  with wired emotions seeing them. Suddenly feeling a tug in trouser I looked down and saw Vivi desperately  try to grab my attention . Sensing my stare on him he started to run. I guessed he wanted me to follow him and it's definitely something related to Sehun. I followed Vivi and then saw Sehun, he was kneeling in front of a tree with big but dull flower as if he was worshipping it. Just then I saw the most unexpected and horrible thing in my life, The petals of the flower became cone shaped and slowly started to wrapped around Sehun's head.

Jongin : Oh no! I have to do something, why doesn't Sehun struggle against the flower.

I started to run towards Sehun and after reaching there I tried to remove that monstrous flower away from him. Suddenly I felt like someone hit my head real hard and threw me to a great distance. Again I couldn't believe what I was seeing - two branch of that plant did that to me and now they guarding the flower like they didn't want me to go near it and Sehun to save him. After sometime that flower released Sehun's head and he did drop like a ragged doll. I came close to him, This time the branch didn't stop me. I was scared to death cause he didn;t open his eyes, I tried to wake him up and checked his pulse, it was there, Vivi also tried to wake up his master by licking his face. Slowly slowly Sehun opened his eyes but he was not like my friend anymore. I didn't think he recognize me and his eyes which was so sharp with intelligence now looked unfocused and blank.

I really didn't know what was happening there. i my mind - " cummon Sehun, it's me, your friend ; you have to recognize me." I felt like crying. 

Eventually The Sun set, that unknown chirping sound now became unbearable , not only that the flowers around us became so luminous in dark like they emitted light.

All others were also came near us in this part, but as usual they were all in their own world. Sehun was no better, he still did lay on beach lazily, Vivi curled up against my lap. It seemed I was only one who were not affected by those devil plants in this evil island.

I lost track of the time for how long I kept sitting on the shore with them, suddenly I felt wetness in my bottom part. Looking there I saw the water reached reached there. In 15 minutes the water nearly reached above my ankle, as if this island was sinking. So guess it was our fate. we just died in this lonely vast sea, middle of nowhere. Sehun and others seemed unbothered by it. I held Sehun's hand tightly and held Vivi close to chest, if it's God's will then let it be this way...............
