The Jeon mansion was steeped in tension, the air heavy with a sense of impending doom. The family had been on edge ever since Minho's defiance and subsequent disappearance into Bang Chan’s clutches. Jeon Namjoon, with his carefully curated calm demeanor, had managed to hold the family together, but the cracks were beginning to show.

In the grand dining room, the Jeon family sat around the table in a strained silence. Namjoon was at the head, his face a mask of restrained fury, while his husband, Jeon Jungkook, sat beside him, his brow furrowed in worry. The Jeon brothers, Yoongi, Seokjin, and Hoseok, were seated around the table, each of them wearing varying expressions of unease.

The door creaked open, and a servant entered, bowing low before addressing Namjoon. "Lord Namjoon, the Park Clan representative has arrived."

Namjoon’s eyes narrowed, and he gave a curt nod. "Show him in."

The servant quickly exited, and moments later, Park Jae Hwan strode into the room, his presence immediately commanding attention. The tall alpha exuded an air of arrogance, his crimson eyes sharp and unforgiving as they swept over the Jeons.

Namjoon stood, offering a stiff bow. "Lord Park, we apologize for the inconvenience caused by Minho's actions. Rest assured, we will make amends."

Jae Hwan’s lips curled into a cold smile as he approached the table. "Inconvenience? You call your bastard omega’s defiance an inconvenience? That boy has caused me more trouble than you could ever imagine."

Namjoon clenched his jaw, forcing himself to remain composed. "We understand your frustration, and we are prepared to make restitution. Minho will be returned to you immediately, and any reparations—"

"That won’t be necessary." The interruption came from the doorway, where Bang Chan now stood, his presence immediately dominating the room. He walked in with the air of someone who knew he owned the place, his gaze locking with Jae Hwan’s. "Minho is mine now."

The room fell into stunned silence. Namjoon’s eyes widened slightly, but he quickly masked his surprise. "Lord Bang, with all due respect, Minho is a member of the Jeon Clan, and his actions must be addressed by us."

Chan smiled, but it didn’t reach his eyes. "Minho bears my mark. He is no longer under your jurisdiction. Any grievances you have can be directed to me."

Jungkook, who had been silent until now, finally spoke, his voice laced with concern. "Chan, this situation is more complicated than that. A conflict between our clans would—"

"I’m not interested in conflict," Chan cut in smoothly. "But I won’t give Minho up. He is my omega, and that’s the end of it."

Namjoon’s eyes flickered with barely concealed rage, but he kept his voice even. "And if we demand his return?"

Chan’s gaze hardened. "Then you’ll be declaring war on the Bang Clan. Is that what you want?"

The tension in the room escalated as the weight of Chan’s words sank in. Nobody wanted a war, not even Namjoon, despite his seething hatred for Minho. The Jeon Clan’s power was formidable, but the Bang Clan’s strength was legendary, especially with their ability to transform into werewolves. Any conflict between the two would be devastating.

Before anyone could respond, Jae Hwan stepped forward, his eyes narrowing. "You think this is over, boy?" he sneered, addressing Chan.

"You may have marked Minho, but he was promised to me. The Jeon Clan’s offer was final, and I won’t let you steal what is rightfully mine."

Chan’s lips twitched in a smirk. "You’re free to try, old man, but you’ll find I’m not so easily intimidated."

Jae Hwan’s face darkened, but before he could retort, Namjoon intervened, his voice firm. "Lord Park, perhaps it’s best if we discuss this matter privately. There’s no need for unnecessary hostilities."
