The Firstborn Son

Year: 97 AC

3rd POV

It was early morning when Queen Aemma Arryn was in labor. Her screams echoed through the halls of the Red Keep. Prince Viserys Targaryen, the eldest of the hand of the king and heir to the throne. He was pacing around worrying for his wife and child. Meanwhile his father, brother and grandsire were with him and watched him pace. "My son, it's okay to be nervous. I was nervous when you were born." Baelon told him. "I know, father." Viserys said.

Daemon got up from his seat and went up to Viserys and stopped him. "Calm down, brother. Aemma and the child will be just fine." Daemon told him. "You're right, I shouldn't worry too much." Viserys said calmly. "We all know Aemma is a strong woman." Daemon said. As Viserys was about to speak the doors opened revealing his grandmother Alysanne Targaryen with a smile on her face looking at her grandson Viserys. "Is Aemma and the child okay, grandmother?" Viserys asked her wanting to be in the room with his wife and child.

"They are alright, Viserys. And congratulations you have twins." Alysanne told him. "Twins." Viserys said shocked. "You have a son and a daughter." Alysanne revealed. Viserys smiled he has twins and one of them is the son he always wanted. "Can I see them?" He asked. "Of course." Alysanne said as she let Viserys  in the room. He walked in and see Aemma holding two bundles in her arms, she was all tired and sweaty from hours of being in labor. He slowly walked up to his wife and children and sat down carefully next to Aemma.

They both thought of what names for if they had a son or a daughter. Viserys chose their son's name as Aemma chose their daughter's name. "Meet your son and daughter, Prince Y/n Targaryen and princess Rhaenrya Targaryen." Aemma said. Viserys smiled at his children before he held Y/n in his arms. Y/n opens his eyes and Viserys see's the most brightest violet eyes he inherited from his father. Then Viserys father, brother and grandsire all came in to see the new Targaryens.

Daemon looked at his nephew and vowed to protect him and Rhaenrya from the people who wished usurped their family throne. He will reign fire and blood if that ever happens. He already knows that Otto Hightower will most likely do it for his own gain. Daemon then took out a dragon egg when he thought there was one child but he will return to the dragon out to get another egg for his nephew since he gave the egg that was golden to Rhaenrya who cuddled into the egg in her cradle.

All in all the Targaryen family is happy about the two new additions to the family. Viserys stayed with his wife and children for the whole day wanting to be near his children.
