Hermione p.o.v
Tension circulated the head boy and girl compartment. I had many questions for Malfoy. Why did he do it? Why didn't he warn us? How does he feeling bout his dad being in jail? Why did he make my life a living hell for 7 years?
'Why did you do what you did!' slipped out Hermione
He didn't even move. He didn't even flinch. He kept a straight face with his lips in a firm line. I didn't bother to attempt again, I sighed and continued reading my book.
I wasn't able to focus on my potions book, my thoughts kept drifting back to Malfoy and his intentions. I finally came to an end of what was a dissatisfying book when Malfoy finally decided to answer my question.
'I did what I did to save my parents. I had no intention of watching my mother die because I was afraid.'
His face was emotionless, his eyes stern, his tone bitter.
'Did you enjoy what you did? Were you glad of becoming a death eater ? Did killing innocent people please you? DID IT?"
I was rude and I should have apologised but I didn't and I didn't intend to.
'You know what Granger you and your puppets can think what you want. The Dark Lord wanted me and I didn't have a choice, when he calls, you answer. He didn't call you so don't you dare try and make this seem like a black and white issue. I saved my moth..."
"I just..."
"Keep your thoughts to yourself next time Mudblood."
He walked out, leaving me alone. Any remorse I felt for him now ceased to exist. Maybe this position of Head Girl is not what I want.I knew he hadn't changed.
