So, I never thought I would find this ever again, let alone write in it. But, here we are.
Hi, I'm Nicole Maxwell, or Nikki for short. But, no one really calls me that anymore, only my family. It's been two years since I've written this, and A LOT has happened.
First, I'm now a sophomore in high school. I'm a little shocked because it felt like I was in eighth grade just yesterday. And it sucks! High school is hard, the teachers hate me wayyyy more than normal! And worse of all, all my friends left me!
Okay, I need to explain. I get it, high school was never going to be easy. But it makes it easier if you have a social life. But if you're named Nicole Julianna Maxwell, luck left you the minute you stepped into that school!
Chloe and Zoey didn't have any classes with me, so it was going to be difficult to manage schedules. They also had the first lunch, while I got stuck with the second lunch. But we couldn't hang out after school, why? BECAUSE THEY GOT ACCEPTED ONTO THE CHEER TEAM AND I DIDN'T!
This caused a shift in our friendship. We couldn't hang out most days because of cheer practice. And when we did have time, they would say they were hanging out with the cheer team. Soon, I would barely see them ever. Zoey even sent me a message to stop texting her before blocking me. Chloe did the same thing, but she didn't even say anything.
Oh! And remember Brandon? That grease ball? He literally ignored me when school started and hasn't talked to me since! But what's even worse is that. HE STARTED DATING JESSICA! YES! JESSICA HUNTER, ONG OF THE MOST POPULAR PEOPLE IN SCHOOL! I wanted to scream and cry when I found out he was dating Jessica. I tried talking to him during the passing period, but he immediately gave me the stink eye and walked away. That rude little grease ball!
So, that's how my high school experience is going. This is going to be the longest school year, and I don't know how I'll survive. But, I'll keep writing in this diary. I kinda miss it.
