"I have no words for that." Harry said that the hell is wrong with the gods to make that oath, and for what? To be angry when they broke the oath? For Merlin's sake, you'd think they were not ancient but little toddlers. Even when he and Draco were rivals, they weren't this bad; all Draco was was bad, but that was Weasley's fault, as the redhead was also like a toddler: a jealous lazy prat that his housemate was an ex-best mate.
"You're new to this, Harry, but it's expected." Annabeth gently told him, and Harry had to admit she had a point. He had been in wizarding for four years and barely understood that. There was a lot to remember, and then the upper class. Now, does he deal with that? Well, he had new friends, a brother, and Blaise. They said Slytherin was important to Harry. He blushed, thinking about Blaise Zabini. Why was he blushing? He hadn't talked to or seen the Slytherin before he was adopted. But because he was busy with things, and he'd see him at Hogwarts, could he keep his hands to himself once he saw his boyfriend?
No, he couldn't. He misses Blaise, and he hoped he could be handsy at Hogwarts. Maybe they could change their school together? The lion and the snake, huh? He could imagine Rita Sleeter making ahit up about them, and he could perhaps make shit up about or out her as an illegal Animagus? He doesn't know if he was an animagus, but that wouldn't be great.
"I know, and there's a lot that I don't know, which is a problem for me as I don't know many things about the wizarding world." Harry admits that it is his fault and what Hermione and Ronald pushed him to do, such as dumbing himself down, not doing any research, and letting Ron drag him down to waste time with wizards chess.
That was never happening again to him. He'd be the best demiwizard he could be. After all, he could not decide on what he was. He was a wizard and a demigod, so Demiwizard would keep praying to the gods, especially his father Apollo. Harry has to find out what other gods the Potter family prayed to. He wanted to know more about his mortal family and his immortal one before he found out the truth. He thought he was a lonely orphan, unwanted and unloved, but he was wrong. The Dursley family was incorrect, which made all the difference in Harry's eyes.
"Why?" Percy asked him, not understanding what Harry was talking about, why he wouldn't know the world he was in. Harry looked intelligent to Percy. Even the Son of Poseidon had his intelligent moments, although if you ask Annabeth, that was few and far between moments. That was her teasing him, as she was not jealous of him being smart.
"Two of my ex-friends, I had to dumb myself down because one of my mates was meant to be the smartest witch. But also, I was punished when I did better than who I thought I was my cousin. Another mate of mine had to drag me around, wasting time and getting into fights that I was neither instigator." Harry told him, which made Percy and Annabeth glad that he was no longer extended friends with these people. Also, who punishes a child for doing better than their cousin? That makes no sense, so if he got a better grade, would he be punished by the people he lived with? That's weird; honestly, they must not be very nice people.
"Good, you don't need anyone to be doing that with you, and this witch you used to be friends with? She needs her ass kicked for making everyone think she has to be smarter than everyone else. I volunteer for this." Annabeth, as if you wouldn't want your friends to better themselves academically and not get jealous of them, and you aren't the only smart one?
"As much as I wanna watch you do that, you would have to go to England for that." Harry told her. Annabeth pouted for a bit. She had never left the United States but knew how to act in the British Isles. The architecture would be unique, though some are older than North America, like the St Louis Arch and Hoover Dam, to name a few.
"Oh, Hades!" Annabeth said she was pretty disappointed at not getting to kick someone's ass that she didn't know. She would have loved to kick this mortal's arse. It did please her that Harry said he would love to see her kick a mortal's ass.
"I'm sorry." Harry told her as gently as he could that he was sorry he popped her bubble. That was not his intention in any form, and she just smiled at the new demiwizard.
"Thanks, Harry." Annabeth said, and it was then that Percy cleared his throat. Both Harry and Annabeth forgot that the son of Poseidon was there. Sheepishly, they looked at Percy, who had an amused facial expression. They forgot about the son of Hades as well. It wasn't their fault the kid was so quiet. Who is that quiet, a ninja? Or what Harry assumes would be a ninja.
"Gah!" both yelled out at the sudden throat clear by the American version of Harry Potter, as most campers called Percy. At the same time, he was called the British version of Percy Jackson. Percy and Nico looked pleased with Harry and Annabeth's reaction. To Harry, Nico enjoyed it more than. Percy, not many people would be described as emo-goths in his school. He couldn't imagine any pure-blood wanting to dress like that, except maybe Professor Snape. Wait a minute! Nico's eyes remind Harry of Professor Snape for some reason.
Was his potion professor a demigod? Was he also a son of Hades? He never considered before going to Gringotts and getting that test. That the gods were real, and that he was a demigod, just how many demigods were unaware of their divine half? Or that the gods are real?
