Ch. 5

The fourth guardian, the sun.

"I don't get these different places I show up at." I said.

I was standing in the shopping district and found out that it was that day of the month. It shocked me to find this and it hurts.

"Why now." I said bending down and hugging myself.
"Are you all right?" A man asked bending down next to me.
"I am fine. Just that my stomach hurts." I said taking a glance at the man.

I was shocked even more to find Hagiwara Kenji in this shopping district. Seems like the places I appear at is set so I can meet them.

"Do you want to head over to a cafe?" Hagiwara asks.
"Yes, thank you." I said.

We made it to the cafe. However, I am shocked that Matsuda isn't around and I found out why.

"Jinpei-chan, still at work. I am in the shopping district. Okay, bye." Hagiwara said over the phone.
"Thank you for helping me. Seems like I bothered your time when you needed to work." I said giving a small bow while sitting.
"No need to thank me and I am on break today. Just that my friend is working." Hagiwara said.
"I see. Well, I am still trying to get a job right now and now I lost my chance." I said.
"Work can wait, you have to take care of yourself before that. So take a break." Hagiwara said.

Not long I got a text from Scarle, asking where I was. I sent my location to her.

"Why didn't you re- Meiya, why do you look so pale?" Scarle asked in shock.
"I have it today, and this person helped me." I said gesturing over to Haiwara.
"Hello-" Hagiwara didn't get to say anything.
"Meiya, let's get you home." Scarle ignored Hagiwara completely.
"Wait, Scarle. Sorry about that. Thank you for taking care of me. I will take more care of myself from now on. So this is a gift to you as my thanks." I said handing the sun ring to him.

I left with Scarle and was led to a manor with 4 other people.

"So, you all were brought here." I said taking a seat.
"We are the first to follow you." Bevita said bowing.
"We choose to follow you." Scarle said bowing.
"We will be here for you." Rafael said bowing.
"You are the one who saved us." Noir said bowing.
"You are our lord, Meiya Serenitis." Airel said bowing.
"Then, the phone call was made by Airel, not you Solomon." I said turning around.
"Yup, I thought about giving you a surprise. After all they are were the ones that you both saved." Solomon said.
"Seems like you care about this giving back." I said.
