"Hi Ella," Laena greeted, smiling softly at her friend, whom she had missed deeply over the last eleven years.
"Hi," Marcella whispered, not believing they were here, and it showed her children shared confused glances except Aegon, who was trying not to laugh at what was happening.
"How about we go to the kitchens and get some food for you all? I can hear your belly's rumbling, and I am sure your mother could use a meal" Viserys said, wanting to give them a moment to talk.
"NO!" Aemma and Rhaegar shouted, sitting in the bed carefully, with Aemond following.
"Aemma, Rhaegar," Marcella said softly, shocked that they would yell at their grandfather.
"Were not leaving you; no, we left Daddy, and he died." Aemma cried
"And you left and almost died," Rhaegar added.
"Were not leaving you, mama," Aemond finished shaking his head quickly.
"Please don't make us mama," Eryx pleaded, making her tear up slightly. Her sweet little boy, now a man, now the Lord of the fourth largest house in the realm.
"I will be ok. Just go with your grandfather to the kitchen and get a bunch of snacks. Make sure there are cookies, and we will spend the entire day together, I promise." She compromised looking at each child.
"You'll watch over her?" Daeron asked, looking at the two adults he never met, but his mother knew them, and they had Valyrian blood, so there was probably family.
"I will, little one, I will keep her safe also," Daemon promised, they all shared a look before nodding and kissing their mothers' cheek leaving the room with Prim, Mia, Otto, and Viserys in tow.
"You had a girl?" Daemon asked, looking at the baby in her arms with a small smile. The blanket was white with embroidered animals.
"I did another little girl; her name is Thea Grace, Thea after Theo, and he really liked the name Grace," she awkwardly answered, making the other two smile.
"I think the name is a perfect way to honor Theo." Laena said to calm Marcella a little while walking over to the bed, sitting down and cooing at the little girl who was awake.
"I am so sorry about Theo, Marcella; he was a great man, and he did not deserve such a fate." Laena spoke softly, rubbing the woman's knee.
"The gods can be cruel," Daemon added, walking closer to the bed but keeping his distance, not wishing to make her uncomfortable.
"It was no gods who decided his fate," Marcella spat, tearing up as she looked down at her daughter, a reflection of her husband.
"What do you mean, Marcella?" Daemon asked, his voice growing stern as he watched her.
"He got sick randomly; he was healthy, but he got sick after we announced my pregnancy with Thea; the maesters could not figure it out; he was poisoned."
"Things like this happen randomly, Marcella," Laena cut in
"What does not happen randomly is my daughter sprouting prophecies." She snapped, getting out of the bed and setting the baby down in the basin.
"Marcella, calm down some and talk to us," Daemon sternly said as he grabbed her hand, noticing her face pinching with pain while she got up from the bed.
"Helena, she's a dreamer. She has always been strange, but I loved her for it and never thought why, but then she started whispering riddles, but they're not riddles, their prophecies tells of what will happen."
"How can you be sure it is not just coincidences? I don't mean to question you, but you're in a fragile state, darling," he whispered, cupping her cheek and wiping the fallen tears.
