That night passed by arguing and squabbling over minor things so none of them were able to capture the choreo which obviously resulted them getting bunches of criticism from the choreographers but Yeonjun just made up an excuse that they were tired and weren't able to figure out . Well technically it's not that they weren't tired but that not the front foot of it.
The members figured out soon enough that something was actually not setting in between them as both of them returned with two different cars that night. Beomgyu wasn't home but taehyun made sure to inform the gossip to beomgyu nonetheless.

"Not again." Hueningkai almost cried as he read the text from soobin.
"What's now?" Taehyun asked sitting properly on the counter. He enjoys watching hueningkai doing dishes because it's a rare sight.
"Soobin hyung went to his brother's for a few days and he's planning to ditch the practice. "
Kai informed in an exasperated tone attempting to tie his apron but struggling to get a grip of the freewill laces from his waist.
"And ? Why does it bothers you ? " Taehyun slightly frowned relaxing his body on the counter.
"He told me to inform it to Yeonjun hyung ."
Kai sighed in relief as he finally succeeds tying his apron.
"That's called maknae unprivileged ." Taehyun chuckles as he noticed kai's face getting stressed and upset with the words.
"If beomgyu hyung was here It would be easier. He makes stuff plain. I hate doing it ." Kai complained like always because he knows even after all the objections at the end it's him who have to tackle the situation. There's no escape route for him .
"Too sad beomgyu isn't here." Taehyun scoffed. He enjoys teasing the younger.
Hueningkai doesn't answers but turns to the sink Taehyun assumes apparently the youngest was tired of complaining but to his surprise he gets attacked by splash of water in a second
"You better not tease me right now taehyun. I'm mad." Taehyun could say kai wasn't even joking when he splashed water on him . It wasn't one of his childish act but an act of defense so he chose not to tease him further and sits quietly on the counter.

"What?!" Yeonjun blustered out getting the said information from Kai.
"I'm not repeating hyung." Kai muttered under Yeonjun's raged gaze.
"He's gone too far . Soobin Choi the stupidest thing you could ever do is escape practice. " Yeonjun balled his fist in frustration.
"You better deal with it. It's you people's subunit. I don't know why am I even doing this."
"Because your beloved hyung soobin is sacred to directly inform me that he's ditching practice." Yeonjun's voice laced disappointment his mouth downturned at it's corners.
"Or maybe he isn't in a term to inform you directly?"hueningkai rushing to soobin's defence as always. Truly nothing has changed and it makes Yeonjun want to grab Kai by the shoulders and shake him senseless. It's astounding how much blind faith hueningkai has in his best friend. Yeonjun doesn't expect him to
take a different turn on this matter either, but kai's loyalty can sometimes outweigh
rationality and it's nothing short of frustrating.
"It's okay to sometime say against your best friend ." Yeonjun's countenance exhibiting a blend of incredulity and exasperation.
"I'm just saying the obvious." Hueningkai shrugged.
"I don't know how can be so calas."
"Me neither."
"You sure?"
"Yeah but I'm calling him that because he made me the space goat."
'"oh wow."
"I'm leaving. You can inform Mr baek."
"Why don't you forward Soobin's text to him."
"How about no."
"You all are coward I just say." Yeonjun's piercing gaze emanating skepticism, and a sardonic smirk subtly hinting at his vexation and disdain towards the younger.
"Who's you all ? " Kai spoke in his defense scowling his face at Yeonjun's direction.
"You , soobin and Taehyun."
"And beomgyu hyung?"
"He's brave enough to speak about his issues."
"Wow I'm seeing you're taking his side these days. Very rare tom and jerry club."
"I'm just describing personalities."
"Ok ."
"Yeah leave. I've to get changed."
"Where are you heading to ?"
"Studio and where."
"Alone?"
"You wanna company?" Yeonjun sniggered.
"No thanks "

Yeonjun returned to his second home aka the studio in a hope that he didn't have to see mr baek but his unfaithful charm didn't leave his side. And the only excuse he could come up with is Soobin has an upset stomach and it will take him a few days to get well. The only excuse the company excepts is food poisoning. Yeonjun had no intention to defend soobin but if he had uttered the truth he would be the one to get all the earful so he chose peace over conflict. Dancing was something Yeonjun could posses at any state so he had no reason to pick Soobin's side. He started practicing all by his own even though it was a duo performance. Pray tell , was there any alternative?
