No Peace

(Will and Nico just want some peace and quiet to enjoy each other's company. Is that too much to ask?)

~Will POV~

Nico blushed as I gently combed his hair from his face.

"Aw, you're so cute." I teased, giving his nose a little tap.

He didn't say anything, he just stared at me. It looked like he had something he wanted to say.

"Something the matter?" I asked.

"Can I have a ki-" He started.

"Will!" Kayla said, rushing over to us. "We really need you in cabin 7."

Nico groaned.

"Can't it wait? We're having couple time." I huffed, hugging Nico's shoulders.

"It can't wait." Kayla said. "So...uh...our dad is...here...and mortal...and bleeding out."

{A Few Days Later}

"Apollo and Meg will find them, Will." Nico assured me.

"What if they don't?" I asked.

He groaned and grabbed my arm, dragging me away.

"You need something to keep your mind off things." He said. "Let's have some us time."

He dragged me down to the beach.

"Nico, how's this supposed to help?" I asked.

"Distraction." He said.

He yanked me over to a canoe and pushed me in.

"It'll be fun." He said. "You can't just sulk in your office."

He pushed the canoe then hopped inside. I watched him paddle us into the lake. He can be sweet when he wants to be.

"Nico..." I said. "You're such a sweetie."

He blushed. I cupped his cheek in my hand, brushing my thumb against his lips. I smiled and leaned forward.

Then something made a wave and the canoe overturned.

I swam to the surface and gasped for air, Nico doing the same. That's when I saw it. A giant, nude, golden, statue of...is that my dad?!

"What the fuck!" Nico shouted.

{A Bit Later}

Nico opened his eyes and yawned.

"What...?" He said.

"You passed out after you shadow travelled to Sherman Yang's chariot." I said.

I propped him up with my shoulder.

"Will-" He started.

"Leo's back!" A camper outside shouted.

"What?!" Nico said.

He tried to stand up but immediately fell back into my lap.

"Give yourself a few minutes to settle, okay?" I asked.

I put a Gatorade bottle to his lips and he took a sip. He gripped my shirt and nuzzled against me.

"Hey, Neeks?" I said.

"Hm?" He said.

He looked up and I kissed him.
