Naseria Aelith Gaheris was a native of Ember, and her life there was vibrant and full of color. As an only child, she was raised by her grandmother, Sanctara, an Elowen native. The Elowen people were known for their expertise in healing and botany, and Sanctara passed down her vast knowledge of plants and herbs to Naseria. From a young age, Naseria helped her grandmother study and care for different forms of flora, gradually inheriting her skills.

As she grew into a young adult, Naseria joined the Koraphis, a military force where her parents had once served in the hunter regiment. Tragically, her parents had died at the hands of the Harrowsouls-malevolent beings that fed on human essence, using dark, persuasive rhetoric to manipulate their victims. The Harrowsouls had haunted humanity for hundreds of years, leaving a devastating impact.

Among the many branches of the military, Naseria chose to join the Elaris, a group dedicated to protecting the forests of the Aurea Kingdom. The forest kingdom was named after its founder-Aurea Hansley, a hero who discovered a unique tree capable of shielding the kingdom from the Harrowsouls. Naseria became deeply connected to nature during her time with the Elaris, and her love for the forest grew stronger each day.

Over time, however, the nobles of the kingdom began to exploit the Aurea trees, cutting them down despite their importance. This reckless abuse weakened the kingdom's defenses and allowed the Harrowsouls to return. The Harrowsouls-Aurean war that followed was one of the most devastating conflicts in the kingdom's history, claiming the lives of hundreds of Aurean soldiers.

During this time, the Elaris discovered a way to fend off the Harrowsouls' manipulation using umbra, a rare herb. It also became apparent that the Harrowsouls were afraid of saltwater, and the survivors evacuated to the coast, establishing villages near the sea. Despite the chaos, the Elaris stood against the nobles who had caused this destruction, but the king did nothing to hold them accountable. Frustrated and betrayed, the Elaris resisted, leading to another conflict-the Elaris-Aurean Civil War. It was a bloody struggle, and the healers and the Elowen people allied with the Elaris.

Despite their strength, the Elaris were outnumbered, and those who survived the battles were captured, severely punished, and exiled. Among the exiled was Naseria. Along with other Elaris, she was cast into the Harrowsouls' den, where they fought bravely but were ultimately overwhelmed. Naseria was the only survivor, narrowly escaping the same fate as her comrades.

Determined to end the threat of the Harrowsouls, Naseria returned to their den, prepared to fight until her death. She was nearly consumed by the Harrowsouls, but the fallen souls of her comrades appeared, pushing her back to reality. They urged her to live, to be a symbol of the Elaris, and to carry on their legacy. They wanted her to tell the story of their struggle, ensuring that the Elaris would never be forgotten.

With that, Naseria escaped from the Harrowsouls' den, fleeing deep into the forest. There, she lived in isolation, surrounded by nature, the only companion she truly trusted. Each day, she chronicled the history of her people-the Elaris-in hopes that one day, someone would discover her hidden sanctuary. She wrote about the struggles, sacrifices, and bravery of her fallen comrades, determined that their story would not fade into obscurity.

The dense forest became her home, where she survived using the knowledge of plants that her grandmother had passed down. Every entry she wrote was a testament to the Elaris' unwavering spirit, their resilience in the face of corruption, and their battle against the Harrowsouls. Naseria believed that even if she perished, the truth of the Elaris would remain, etched into the pages of her journal, waiting for the day when someone would find them and learn the legacy of her people. She would ensure that the Elaris' fight for justice, nature, and freedom would never be forgotten.
