Avery's pov:

"No."I reply looking at Valeria and the man in front of me
"What do you mean no?"She asks nervously laughing

"I'm not fake dating again no way in hell."I say scoffing
"But it worked out Avery!"She pleaded to me

"And look where it got me!"
"Look,it will be the same as last time.Just a few months we promise."

"Don't you understand that I'm not ready yet?"
"It's been 1 year Avery.You need to be ready."She calmly responds

"Im going,nice to meet you Jude."I say standing up and walking out

I sit in my car and sigh sinking into my seat.Hector was doing fine with his new influencer girlfriend Angelica Lopez clearly.
So why couldn't I just suck it up and move on for fucks sake?

I begin to drive back to my apartment complex where some creepy man had just moved in
"Hello Avery!"Xavier aka the creepy man says when he sees me

"Oh uhm Hello!"I say running upstairs to my apartment
Delany was at Hector's right now so I had the whole place to myself when my phone rings from an unknown number

"Hello?"I say answering the call
"Avery Hi!Its uhm me Jude.Jude Bellingham."

Basically,Valeria wanted me to fake date Jude Bellingham which was far to traumatic for me to ever go back to doing.
"Oh hello Jude!Im sorry for just walking out today."I say twiddling with my fingers

"Nah I get it.I just wanted to know if we could meet up.Just to talk?"
He was being too polite for me to decline "Yes I would love too do that.Come pick me up in an hour."Hell I needed to wake up from my dream with Hector

"Great.See you then."
"Amazing!Bye!"I say hanging up the phone

I place my phone down while smiling like an idiot.I quickly wipe it off and walk to my room to search for an outfit to wear

I settle on some jeans and a basic white tank top that complimented my figure.I do some summery makeup and straighten my hair when I was finally ready!
I stick on my Hermes sandals when my doorbell rings,I quickly go to answer it

"Hi!"I exclaim giving Jude a friendly hug
"Hi,wow you look amazing."He states looking me up and down

"Thank you so much,I'll just get my purse then we can head."
"Perfect!"

He sits down on my couch as I walk to my walk in closet to pick a purse to wear with my outfit.The black Dior one was screaming my name so I decided to settle on that one.
This was just for some fun,I told myself.

"Okay we can go."I say walking into my modern living room
"Great,shall we?"He extends his hand out for me to grab

I chuckle and take it as we leave my building
"Avery I wanted to ask you,oh who's this?"Xavier starts

"Hi Xavier!Sorry I'm busy right now but I'll see you later!"I say twiddling my fingers at him as Jude laughs
"Who was that?"He asks as we step outside into the blazing sun

"This random creep that just moved in."I tell him rolling my eyes
He nods looking like he understood.We got into his car and drove to some cafe near Madrid
