I placed the pregnancy test down as it had two lines on it.
I kinda knew this would happen. My boyfriend Jaylen wasn't using protection at all and soon I had morning sickness now I'm pregnant with his child.
Tears streamed down my face not knowing what to do. I was only fifteen living with my parents.
They would for sure kick me out.
Knocking was placed on the bathroom door
"I gotta use the bathroom hurry!" I heard my older sister Niya.
Maybe I could tell her...She is the only person I could talk to when shit got rough.
I slowly opened the door being met with my sister looking angry but her face soften as she saw me.
"What's wrong?" She asked and I looked around to make sure no one was around
"Come inside" I whispered and without hesitation she stepped in the bathroom locking the door behind her.
She looked around the bathroom but her eyes stopped on the pregnancy test
"Mimi..." She whispered as she covered her mouth shocked.
Mimi was my childhood nickname and everyone who knew me would know me as Mimi.
"I-i don't know how" I cried covering my face
"It's okay" she hugged me rubbing my back
"It's not okay. Mama and daddy finna kick me out. And Jay probably gonna leave me"
"If he leave you I'ma be here with you" she looked at me whipping my tears
"Thank you" I whipped my tears
"No need to thank me" she picked up the pregnancy test throwing it in the trash can and placing toilet paper on it.
"C'mon it's gonna be okay" she whispered taking my hand and walking us out the bathroom.
We walked to my room and she locked the door.
"You wanna call him or do it face to face?" She asked as I sat on the bed
"Ionk. The last time I saw him he said he don't wanna do nothing with me." I shrugged playing with my fingers
"Maybe we just call him" she sat next to me on the bed picking up my phone and calling him.
It rang and rang until he picked up
"If you calling to gimme head then be here in 5 minutes" he said before ending the call.
"Wtf is wrong with him" Niya mugged calling him again
"Wtf you want bitch." He raised his voice
"Uhm..I was just calling cause I wanted to tell you something" I said and Niya slowly nodded for me to continue
"I'm pregnant and its your child-" before I could finish he hung up.
"Now he got me fucked up" Niya clapped
My phone vibrated and he messaged.
Jaylen
I'm gon kill that baby.
My heart ached and my breathing picked up.
"Niya..." I looked at her as she had her mouth covered shocked
"What am I gonna do" I cried
"It's alright he not gonna kill ya baby" she hugged me.
She was wrong

I heard something drop making me sit up in my dark room.
"Mimi.." I heard Jay's voice then my lamp turned on and I saw his face. His hands in his pocket like he was waiting to pull something out.
"Jay get out" I moved away from him as my heart was pounding.
"I just wanna talk ma" he grabbed my hand pulling me to stand up.
"No you not doing nothing to my child" I held my stomach
"I'm not gon do nothing c'mere" he pulled me closer to him but I pulled away
"I'm not gon do nothing c'mere" he repeated softly
I believed him so I moved closer to him and he hugged me.
"I love you.." he whispered in my ear before I felt a hard punch go to my stomach and head making me fall to the ground.
He kept punching making me black out.

"I'm sorry this happened Mimi" I heard my sister
I couldn't move, I couldn't see.
I was in a coma.
"I promise I'm always gonna be here for you from now on. I'm gon protect you. Nothing is gonna happen to you."
She lied.
