         Question about her, I was driving myself crazy, I was yelling at myself to stop when my class was about to start.
         So I started to get everything prepped. Now everyone was taking their seats, I started taking attendance to make sure everyone was here but there  was only one person that never showed up. As always I called the girl's name, Bailey, and to my surprise the girl was here.


           When I looked up, it was her, she looked just as surprised as I was, I could not think, nor talk, all I could do was stare at her for 2 minutes. Finally I snapped myself out of it and slowly started to speak, "okay class turn to page 183 and start to read and take notes" Bailey raised her hand "yes" " I haven't been here, could you fill me in on what I missed" I called on Ava.
         "You can help fill her in and work together until you are all caught up"

    
          "Thank you sir", 20 minutes goes by, "now class partners up and talk about what you read". My class did as there told, I couldn't stop thinking to myself on why Bailey has missed two months of school. Was she in trouble? I wanted to ask why but I didn't want to make her feel embarrassed.

           I will poll her after class and ask her what's going on and to see if there is anything I could do to help. The bell rang, me and Bailey looked at each other and everyone was walking out, "hey Bailey can you stay for a moment" "yes sir" I  looked at her she was smiling, "Bailey how come you missed two months of school are you in trouble, is there anyhting I could do to help ?" She looked at me for a moment, the smile that once was there now faded away.


            She tried to cover it up by putting on another smile, but it was to late because I already knew it was gone. She didn't want me to know anyhting so she just kept smiling, that look in her eyes, you can see sadness, you could tell there was something there. I was about to say something but she cut me off and said
