real life

MELANIE had just told her lunch table about what happened between her and matt when they hung out. each one of them had a different facial expression written on their face, some proud, and some in shock. she looked awkwardly around the table as she waits for someone to say something or do anything.

hazel was the first out of the group to speak up, "girl there is no way you just casually hung out with matthew sturniolo." she says with her hand over her mouth in absolute shock.

melanie just shakes her head and shrugs, "i mean...he doesn't seem that bad." she says putting a strand of hair behind her ear.

trevor scoffs and rolls his eyes, "but mel...he is bad news like, no offense your going to be one of his hoes." he says in an upset tone which makes melanie's eyebrows raise in curiosity.

"trevor that is not going to happen like you know i'm not that kind of girl." she says as she gives him a reassuring look making him softly smile then look away.

"andddd that is because you have never had your first kiss!" scarlett says clapping her hands together and receiving a glare from melanie.

"okay literally no need to call me out like that," she huffed as she crosses her arms. "it's only because i want my first kiss to be with the right one."

"right one my ass girl, it's because you don't talk to the other gender besides trevor, grayson and me." nathan says with a teasing grin.

hazel slaps nathan in the arm causing him to rub his arm. "it's okay that you haven't had your first kiss, they are overrated anyways!" hazel says trying to cheer the girl up.

melanie huffs and was going to say something before she was cut off by the bell ringing loudly through the cafeteria. she sighed and stood up, "i'll talk to you guys after school...unless i die because i haven't had my first kiss yet." she jokes as she grabs her stuff and walks off.

IT was the last period before school was over and she couldn't wait to get out of class. her mind has been completely caught up with her memories with matt. even if it was only a little bit of memories, she could think about it for hours and she didn't know why. maybe it was the way his hair was messy but still looked so soft or how blue his eyes were when they stared into her brown eyes. whatever matt did to her, it has her hooked but she will never completely fall for him since he was a known bad boy. the bell rings through the school, noting her that class is over and she was now free.

she collects her stuff and heads towards the door. through the window of the door she sees matt waiting by the lockers. this struck confusion through her head as she opens the door and sees him turn his direction towards her. it's like time freezes for her and it's just the two of them because she doesn't even realize her friends watching the interaction between them go down.

he walks over to her with a low smirk, "hey missie." he says leaning against the wall besides him looking down at her.

she looks up at him a confused look plastered on her face, "um..hey whats up?" she asks curiously as she didn't expect him to come up to her.

"come over to my house today." he says in more of a demanding tone then a suggestion.

she scrunches her nose up and looks behind him to give their friends a look. they were all staring at her confused as to what the conversation could be about.

she sighs and looks back up to him, "and why would i come over...i literally have homework." she says in an obvious tone to his demand.

he shrugs, "well what if i need homework help?" he replies as he shoves his hands in his sweatpants pockets.
