I'm sorry in advance. 🎀

..

Mia believe it or not was a happy child once, then her father left. A piece of her shattered. Seeing him leave without a thought behind. Seeing her mother shattered too. She clung onto her mother then. Scared to let her go. Going wherever she went. Not letting her out of her sight. her mother tried her best to shield Mia from the cruel world outside. Mia grew up. She became insecure. The money was tight, the tension in the air always could be cut with a knife. Only her and her mom. She grew a resentment towards her father. But she always thought. Her little kid self thought he would come back for them. For her. She started putting on makeup, dressing up in tight and revealing clothes, flaunting herself. She learnt that if she showed her body off right, gave a bit of attention to those weird flirty dudes in the hallway, she could get whatever. That's how she got stuff in life. She didn't get the silver spoon in her hand that most children got at that school. All her life, the only thing she could depend on was looks. Reece and Autumn, as much as she loved them when she was younger, they didn't have to worry about rent and food at such a young age. Mia could sob and scream, but it only made the situation worse for her. she put up an act, stopped showing emotion. Roger dug his claws into young Mia. Practically grooming her. Mainly grooming is assumed so he can have romantical interactions with her, but no. It was to manipulate and break her. That bubbly teenager, that always found the bright in every dark situation and praised herself, was gone. Like that. The world bent and snapped her until she became cruel. Just what her mother was trying to protect her from. But the world has it ways. Mia became reckless, self harming in such. She started smoking, it gave her a wave of relief. She gave alcohol a swing too. Though alcohol wasn't too much of an addiction it definitely was something she ran to when she couldn't deal with anymore. The only thing that was completely able to break her? The look on her mothers face after every puff of smoke, after every sip, after every breakdown. Her poor mother watching her sweet baby get ruined by the horrible reality of the world.
