After getting the information he needed and fleeing the dungeon, Xia returned to his room. He now had a name and an idea of where the witch's lair was, but many factors posed a problem. The incident happened many years ago and Elvira was dead. Even if he was able to find this cavern, there was no guarantee that he would find anything useful. If he did, he didn't know the first step of reversing a curse. There was a possibility that there was no way of saving Osiris. If this continued, the sultan might lose himself completely one day. He admitted that the curse was taking over more frequently.

Thinking about the sultan, it was time for Xia to make a decision as well. As he paced back and forth, he had to choose whether to stay in his room for the night or to visit Osiris. It was getting late, and the sun was beginning to set. By sundown, Osiris' doors would be locked, and Xia would miss his chance. Xia bit his thumbnail as he tried to come to a decision. Visiting Osiris now meant they would finally have sex, but Xia was worried about the curse. What if they didn't finish by the time Osiris' curse took over? Xia didn't want to get hurt just because he wanted to get fucked.

But he also didn't want to miss out on this opportunity. Xia was always one who lived on the dangerous side.

With a deep breath, Xia made up his mind. There was still time to visit Osiris, and after what the sultan did to him earlier, Xia needed him. After their departure earlier, it was hard not to think about him. Osiris left Xia with a craving he had never felt before. Xia could easily please himself in his room, but it wouldn't be the same. He wanted Osiris.

Xia left his room, his heart beating fast. Since it was growing late, the palace was quiet. Very few servants still roamed the halls, and none questioned Xia as he made his way to Osiris' bedroom. The closer he came to Osiris' room, the more times Xia almost turned around. He was nervous as he envisioned what would happen. Osiris' fingers were the only thing that penetrated Xia so far. He wasn't positive if he was actually ready for a bigger, thicker object.

He was nearing Osiris' room so he wouldn't back down now. No matter what happened, Xia couldn't let his nerves get to him. After Osiris' words earlier, he didn't know if the sultan would even let him leave if Xia changed his mind. Osiris seemed set on having sex with Xia if he showed up. Once outside of the sultan's bedroom doors, Xia mustered up as much courage as he could to knock.

It didn't take long for Osiris to get up to answer his door. When he opened them and saw who was standing on the other side, Osiris smiled. He asked to give Xia one last chance to change his mind, "Are you ready for this? I won't let you leave after you walk through this door."

When the opportunity to leave was presented to him, Xia would not take it. He shook his head and said, "I'm not backing down. I-I want to be with you tonight."

The sultan chuckled, then moved out of the way and gestured for Xia to enter the room. Once inside, Osiris shut the door behind him, pulled out a key, and then locked the door. Hearing the lock click shut made Xia's heart pick up in beat, and he watched as Osiris put the key back in his pocket. Osiris wasn't kidding when he said Xia wasn't allowed to leave after walking through that door. Xia made his decision. He would go through with this tonight.

He was curious about something, though. "Um . . . is it really okay for you to be locking me in here with you? What happens when your beast takes over . . . ?"

Xia didn't have many means of escape, and the door was locked. He couldn't use the door, which meant Xia would need to escape by climbing down the lattice fence again. If he needed to escape quickly, in his rush, he might hurt himself. He needed to make sure he was safe here, but maybe he should have confirmed that before walking through those doors.
