"Bakugo."
"Bakugo."
"Bakugo!"
"Huh?" Katsuki raised his eyebrow, face showing an expression of confusion. Looking up from his phone at Kirishima who's been yelling his name unbeknownst to him.
"He's been calling your name for a whole minute. I thought the point of those hearing aids was that they're supposed to help you, dude." Kaminari sat with his legs crisscrossed, elbow on his knee with his head propped in his hand.
"Don't keep mentioning it!" Jirou whisper yelled, quickly punching him on the shoulder, making him clutch it quickly and groan in pain. "Sorry!"
"I have to get it repaired. The worst my hearing gets the more it has to be reworked." Katsuki explained, placing his hand on the hearing aid. Pushing it further in his ear hoping it'd work at least a little more effectively until it gets replaced.
"Again? Man that must be annoying to keep having to get it done constantly. I know my pockets would hurt." Sero commented as he sipped his juice packet.
Bakugo turned his head away, scrunching his face irritatedly. He was tired of talking about the topic at hand. It's not like they brought it up too often, but it's not just them. It's the entirety of his peers.
Classmates, teachers, even his parents.
They all singled him out as if him being partially deaf made him any-less of the person he was before needing the hearing aid. Even when they didn't necessarily say it out loud, he knew how they thought of him. Even Midoriya.
While he didn't speak to Katsuki as differently or point out his disability outwardly like everyone else, he proceeds with caution when talking to him now. Though trying his hardest not to make it obvious.
While [Name] doesn't even bother talking to him. Not like she did before to be honest, but she really did her best to avoid having conversations with him. Though he'd prefer that over always pointing out his disability, he gets enough of that as it is.
Standing up he slung his bag over his shoulder, walking out of the classroom to a place where he's sure no one would attempt to talk to him at least.
The library.
Though he doesn't have to hear anyone as much, he still likes that no one will even try to talk to him. Sitting in one of the far corners of the room away from everyone. Laying his forehead against the edge of the table, scrolling on his phone. Eyes narrowing when he received a text notification, from [Name] surprisingly.

[Name] sent her final message, unaware of the fact he was sitting right across from her technically. Although across the room. The four tables in the corner of each section of the library, they sat diagonally facing each other. Both sitting in the same position unknowingly.
She yawned, shutting her phone off. Placing it on the table she lifted her forehead off the table, scooting in her chair in slightly. Folding her arms she rested her head on them, unable to fall asleep from the uncomfortable position. Though enjoying the silence as she could.
After a long day of socializing with her classmates she was tired of talking. Except it hasn't been a whole day, it's only twelve in fact. Their lunch period just barely beginning. Having no one to spend it with.
Sure she had friends, but being apart of a defined group? No. She never even bothered befriending anyone to that extent. A few of her classmates she was close to such as Tokoyami and Todoroki, but it wasn't anything with them hanging out outside of class. Heck, she can barely get a text going.
She's grown accustomed to it. She has to if it's her fault she's in the situation. Everyone in her classroom enjoys each other's company like they're one big family. Not that she doesn't see them as such in some aspects, but of course what comes with being around family is wanting silence. It's needed sometimes if not most.
After all, who doesn't enjoy the quiet?
