All I remember was a faint beeping sound, much of what is used today to monitor the status of a heartbeat. It was warm, and it is seemed that I am surrounded by darkness. It was, well, moist but comfortable.
Minutes had gone by, I heard laughing and ecstatic screaming, muffled but still clear. Though I am not sure what the voice had said, I knew immediately that he is my caretaker. A guardian, my parent, to this big world.
A sudden cold air hits my face, then my whole body as I was pulled upwards. I opened my eyes to see a blinding blue light, and for the first time, I breathed.
The air was dry, and so immediately, I screamed and cried, seeking someone, anyone to give me affection and warmth. But all I received was wires upon wires, connected to machines. And before I knew it, I was placed someplace else.
